Hollywood actors Scarlett Johansson and Sean Penn were recently spotted getting cozy at Cuban restaurant Versailles in LA. “With her foot in his lap during the lunch, the 26-year-old actress got friendly with the 50-year-old star”, said a source. The couple were seen smiling and laughing together during the meal. And one source inside the restaurant said the ‘Ghost World’ actress paid the bill.

Johansson and Ryan Reynolds filed for divorce in December, while Penn finalized his divorce from Robin Wright last July.

Bristol Palin to pen down intimate memoir

US glamorous politician Sarah Palin’s daughter Bristol Palin has signed a deal to pen a memoir which her publisher describes as the first "intimate, behind-the-scenes look at her life". The book, ‘Not Afraid of Life’, will be published this summer, publisher William Morrow, an imprint of HarperCollins, has said, declining to say how much it was worth. In the book, "Bristol gives readers an intimate behind-the-scenes look at her life for the first time, from growing up in Alaska to coming of age amid the media and political frenzy surrounding her mother’s political rise". Portions of the book will also deal with the 20-year-old single mother’s on-and off romance with the father of her child, Levi Johnston, and her stint on ABC’s TV show ‘Dancing with the Stars’.

"Plain-spoken and disarmingly down to earth, Bristol offers new insight and understanding of who she is and what she values most," the statement added. Bristol made headlines last year when she reached the finals of ‘Dancing with the Stars’, in which she ended in third place. She’s also a paid speaker for organisations which support teen abstinence from sex before marriage.

She also appeared last year on her mother’s television show “Sarah Palin’s Alaska”.

She is young and innovative and after showing her designs on the ramp, Nida Mahmood has moved to the small screen and has styled the wardrobe for the lead character of an upcoming fictional soap. Though the young designer is tight-lipped about the details, she does reveal the clothes will be very ‘Nida Mahmood’ type - young and quirky and the project was all the more exciting for her as she was styling for a male wardrobe after a gap. "I started my fashion journey by making men’s wear, but for the past two years I have been showcasing women’s line on the ramp. I was given the option of designing for the lead female character as well, but I opted for lead male character," said Mahmood.

"For the past two years, I wanted to launch my men’s wear line, but I was caught up in so many things. Finally, when I got this opportunity, I just thought, this is the right time," added the young designer who is quite fond of Bollywood’s retro era which is often seen in her collections.

Prem Chopra to get Mother Teresa Award

He played the evil anti-hero in Bollywood for decades but Prem Chopra is a gentleman off screen and the veteran will be honoured with the Mother Teresa Award for his humanitarian work and five-decade-long career. The 76-year-old who is still winning rave reviews for his film roles, said that he is humbled at being chosen for an award whose previous recipients include Rajeev Gandhi and the Dalai Lama. The actor, who has done nearly 400 films over a career spanning five decades, will receive the award at a function in Kolkata on March 3.

"I feel really happy and honoured. And this award is special as it has been instituted in the name of Mother Teresa, the saint who served the poorest of our country," said Chopra.

"I don’t believe in charity for the sake of it and do not talk about the work that I do," said Chopra, whose distinct style and one-liners including the hit, "Prem Naam hai mera... Prem Chopra", from Bobby, are recognised by film goers worldwide.

Lara Bingle signs deal with Big Pictures

Aussie bikini model Lara Bingle has signed a deal with a photo agency. She is said to have struck a deal with photo agency Big Pictures for a cut of profits made from her own photos. It is understood rival agencies are seething over the deal, which are generally commonplace in the US. The move means Bingle can create and control the pictures released for sale to magazines and newspapers. Bingle was snapped looking perfect after a long-haul flight from London. The photo had a price tag of 250 dollars and it is thought Bingle would receive about 50 per cent of profits in a deal.

News of an alliance came as a surprise to Bingle’s manager, Titus Day, who denied the pin-up had struck an agreement with self-proclaimed "Mr Paparazzi" Darren Lyons. "We haven’t done any deals with anyone," said Titus Day.

But the millionaire Big Pictures agency owner has been seen lunching with Bingle on several occasions in recent weeks, and the former cricket WAG was seen at Sydney airport recently giving one Big Pictures photographer directions to her location.

Hollywood actress Katie Holmes has been named the ‘Face of the Future’ by Italian fashion label MaxMara. The annual award is given by the Italian fashion label to recognise style, talent and the recipient’s contribution to the community. The ‘Batman Begins’ star, who travelled to Milan Fashion Week for the brand’s catwalk presentation said she was thrilled with the honour because she adores the label. "Their clothes are so comfortable and beautifully made, I love wearing them. I’m so excited to be here at Milan Fashion Week, this is my first time. I haven’t been shopping yet but I will sneak in some time to shop," said Holmes. Ian Griffiths, Head of Design Style for the brand, said they had chosen the 32-year-old actress because she is the epitome of a MaxMara customer.

"Katie’s style is chic and modern, it equates with the Max Mara style because it gives you confidence so you look good in anything. No matter what you’re doing you don’t have to worry about how you look," he said.
