Lady Gaga named Highest Earning Pop Star of 2010
Lady GagaFollowing her Grammy success, pop diva Lady Gaga has another reason to celebrate as she has been named the highest-earning pop star of 2010. The pop singer, only a few years removed from her original hair colour and shows at small downtown New York venues, so thoroughly dominated the last year that it seemed almost a foregone conclusion that she would top the Money Makers list," a Billboard spokesman said.

Other celebrities to make it to the top 10 included Country star Taylor Swift earning USD 20.7 million, Michael Buble USD 19.8 million, Eagles USD 18.3 million, Black Eyed Peas USD 16.8 million and Sir Paul MCCartney with USD 14.1 million.

Lady Gaga to announce her engagement
Lady GagaPop star Lady Gaga may soon become engaged to her bartender boyfriend, Luc Carl. Rumors suggest that the on and off couple may be about to announce their engagement after Carl moved in to her luxury 25,000-dollar-a-month Bel Air mansion. The 24-year-old singer began dating the 29-year old barman for a second time last year, having previously had a relationship with him four years earlier before she found fame after meeting the failed rock drummer in a New York bar. The loved-up pair dated for a couple of years before splitting up just before Gaga went global with her first album in 2008.

But after getting back together, the loved-up pair is taking things more seriously this time around.

"She and Luc are in no rush to name a wedding date. She doesn’t even have a proper ring because he couldn’t afford one," said a source.
