Lindsay Lohan finally has a job after she lands a modelling gig with fashion designer Philipp Plein. The 31-year-old German fashion designer has introduced the 25-year-old actress as the new face of his fashion line during Milan fashion Week. The ‘Freaky Friday’ star swept into the event looking chic and trendy in a studded black mini dress with the designer by her side. “Lindsay is a beautiful, highly acclaimed actress and model,” said Plein. “We will be able to create unique images: Refined and luxurious, but also full of sensuality,” he added.

Lindsay Lohan’s necklace stealing video sold for $350K

The surveillance footage showing Lindsay Lohan allegedly stealing a necklace worth 2,500 dollars has apparently been sold. The jewelry store has reportedly sold the surveillance footage for more than 35,000 dollars to an American TV network. CCTV cameras at the store recorded, 24 year old, Lohan, trying on the necklace in question, and the footage was expected to be used as evidence against the actress. But the sale of the footage could undermine the prosecution’s case against the ‘Mean Girls’ star, who is pleading not guilty to the felony grand theft charge. It has also been claimed that a lawyer representing the jewelry store contacted Lohan’s lawyer, Shawn Holley, last week and asked about obtaining her copy of the CCTV footage in a bid to keep it off the market.

“The jewelry store owner’s lawyer was contacting Shawn Holley and trying to obtain her copy of the video, and also wanted Shawn not show the tape to anyone,” said a source.

Holley was said to be furious at the move and has played no part in the sale of the tape.

A rich fan gifts necklace to Lindsay Lohan

Troubled star Lindsay Lohan has been gifted a necklace by a rich fan which is apparently similar to the one she was accused of stealing from a California store recently. The Judith Ripka Evil Eye design, an 18 karat gold and diamond necklace has been sent to Lohan by a fan called Eric Freiberg. "I felt it was the right thing to do. Everyone takes any chance they can to pile on to her. The accusation that she stole a necklace is totally ridiculous. It was an easy decision for me to send her the necklace. "It’s particularly appropriate because it is an Evil Eye, which will hopefully ward off any bad spirits coming Lindsay’s way," Freiberg said.

The 24-year-old ‘Mean Girls’ star was accused of stealing a high end jewellery and necklace worth USD 5000 from a California store after she was photographed wearing the jewellery that had gone missing.

Lindsay Lohan sued by a tanning company

Lindsay Lohan has been sued by a tanning company for over 41,000 dollars in allegedly unpaid bills. The company has claimed that they bronzed the ‘Mean Girls’ star up from 2007 to 2009. Lorit Simon has claimed Lohan hired her Nevada-based company, Tanning Vegas – and the job required interstate travel when Lohan was craving a colour change. In the lawsuit filed last week in Nevada, Simon has claimed Lohan racked up 41,031.60 dollars in unpaid charges and even now, she refuses to settle her debt.

Simon wants Lohan to fork over the money plus attorney’s fees and interest.

Lindsay Lohan accused of stealing necklace

Actress Lindsay Lohan is reportedly being investigated for a possible theft of a USD 5,000 necklace. A Los Angeles judge is expected to issue a search warrant for police to find the piece of jewellery in the star’s Venice Beach home. "Lindsay is being accused of stealing high-end jewellery, including a necklace," said one law enforcement source. "A search warrant was requested at the Airport Court to search Lindsay’s house for the item of jewellery in question."

Lohan was spotted wearing the necklace while visiting a store. "Lindsay has been photographed and there is video of her wearing the jewellery she is accused of stealing," the source added.

Troubled actress Lindsay Lohan, who is finally out from the rehablitation centre, has started creating "timeless" shoes for her 6,126 collection. The 24 year old, Lohan, who was recently released from a three-month enforced stay at the Betty Ford rehab clinic in California, is working on a "glamorous" collection of footwear with business partner Kristi Kaylor. "I took inspiration from old Hollywood glamour and added a modern edge. It was key to make comfortable, timeless shoes that can easily go from day to night and feel cool, chic and glamorous," said Lohan.

"She comes to meetings with tears, photos and fabrics. She brings her own shoes in to show specifics. She’s ultra-prepared, all the time," said Kaylor. "They’re timeless. You’re buying an over-the-knee boot to wear for years."

Lindsay Lohan to launch shoe line next autumn

Troubled actress Lindsay Lohan is planning to design shoes after completing her current stint in rehab. In a bid to expand her fashion range the ‘Mean Girls’ star will be introducing footwear to her 6126 fashion brand, and her designs are expected to be debuted next autumn. "The shoes are classic, glamorous and timeless with a sexy flair. She’ll finalise everything when she’s out of rehab," said a representative for Lohan.

Lohan is due to leave a clinic in California next week (January 03, 2011) after serving three months of court-ordered treatment for breaching her probation relating to a 2007 DUI arrest.

Hollywood actress Lindsay Lohan has bared all for a scene in her new action movie ‘Machete’.

The movie, co-directed by Robert Rodriquez, features a number of controversial sequences, including a shower scene featuring Jessica Alba.

The 29 year old Alba recently came to the defence of co-star Lohan after it was revealed that the actress could go back to prison in light of her recent troubles.

"The fact that she can poke fun at herself – she’s a brilliant actress. ‘Mean Girls’ is a classic. It’s so good. How can you ever forget that? I think people should probably focus more on someone’s career and maybe less on someone’s personal circumstances. It’s nobody’s business. Everyone goes through their own thing," said Alba.

It looks like something’s cooking between Gerard Butler and Lindsay Lohan.

The Scot got ‘reacquainted’ with the ‘Mean Girls’ star at a recent Hollywood bash.

The duo famously locked lips at a shindig in Morocco a few months back and the pair got up close and personal at a do in Beverly Hills last week.

“They arrived at the party separately. When they saw each other they got together and embraced,” said an eyewitness.

“As the afternoon wore on, they became more and more friendly and eventually one thing led to another and they left together.

“Friends said they went off to a hotel. They were all over each other at the party, really not leaving each other’s sides,” he added.

Lindsay Lohan’s fashion adventure ends

Hollywood actress Lindsay Lohan’s design career has ended after a single collection for Parisian label Emanuel Ungaro, leaving the fashion world divided over whether her work was a disaster or a much-needed bit of fun.

She failed to show up at the label’s show, leaving the owners groping for reasons.

"Lindsay is not involved in it," said Asim Abdullah, one of the owners.

Ungaro designer Estrella Archs, who worked with Lohan on last year’s widely panned show of butt-revealing dresses and strippers’ nip stickers, showed her second Ungaro collection on Monday. She said Lohan had no hand in it.

"You have up and downs and you learn a lot, more from the downs than from the ups," Archs told reporters backstage when asked about the dire reviews of last year’s show with Lohan, who acted as artistic adviser. Abdullah’s reason for Lindsay not showing up was in contradiction to the announcement six weeks back when the label said Lindsay would be at the helm.

Hollywood starlet Lindsay Lohan has raised health concerns after her mother admitted that the actress has been harming herself.

Leaked phone calls between Lohan’s mother Dina and father Michael stated that the actress has been cutting herself.

Dina also told Michael, who is estranged from Lohan, it would be his fault if anything tragic happened to her. "I know that it’s going to happen. I will feel it’s all your fault, that’s how I will feel, it’s not about me,"

Dina told Michael in a phone call dated back to 2008. The 23 year old actress has previously been pictured with scars on her arm.

Lohan’s mother is not the first one to speak about the actress’ ill health. Her assistant Jenni Muro has also told Michael that Lohan will take her own life if she doesn’t get the help she needs.
"I am trying to save your daughter’s life every day. She is another mess, she’s no better than she was two years ago and she knows that. If I wasn’t around she would be in grave danger. I gave up everything just so your daughter doesn’t kill herself," Jenni told Michael in another phone call.

The “Mean Girls” star visited Millions of Milkshakes in West Hollywood, where she donned an apron and gloves to create her very own sweet treat, which was dubbed the Lindsay Lohan Shake and will now feature on the menu.

Fashion designer Stella McCartney has urged actress Lindsay Lohan to give up fur.

The ‘Mean Girls’ star has been snapped wearing animal pelts and leather on numerous occasions, and last year campaigners in Paris, France, threw flour over her in protest at a fur coat she was sporting.

According to Britain’s Mail, Stella, daughter of Beatles legend Paul McCartney and his late wife Linda, who’s also a supporter of (PETA) has expressed her concerns about Lohan’s love of fur and leather goods.

"Lindsay wears a lot of Stella’s designs and she doesn’t want to be associated with a high-profile star who insists on wearing animal products," said a source.

A spokeswoman for McCartney says: "She never uses fur and encourages everyone to opt for a vegetarian lifestyle."

Lohan lost a lot of weight and looked painfully thin after her split with on-off girlfriend Samantha Ronson. But she has been told by the producers of her new film "The Other Side" to pile on the pounds in a bid to look healthier on camera.

They want Lindsay looking like a normal, healthy girl, not a skeleton. So they ordered her to rest and eat more.
