Rihanna talks about her relation with Chris Brown

R&B superstar Rihanna has for the first time opened up regarding her fight with ex-partner Chris Brown that ended her relationship with him. The 22-year-old singer was beaten black and blue by Brown after she allegedly questioned him about a text messages which he received from an ex-girlfriend.

Though Rihanna has spoken little about the incident, Brown who is still serving community service for his gruesome actions was found guilty of assaulting his then-partner.

The ‘Umbrella’ hitmaker stated that she felt like "an empty vessel" for days following the ugly break-up but insisted that the violent run-in with her ex has transformed her to better person.

"I couldn’t have been the woman I am, the friend, or the sister or the artist, or the role model I am today if I did’t go through what I went through.”

"It’s scary; you just lose touch of everything that you love and everything that you would normally do; how you would dress or how you would say something. I needed that wake-up call in my life. That was the only way I would have gotten out of that relationship", she said.

Rihanna who is presently dating Los Angeles Dodgers baseball player, 26 year old, Matt Kemp, said that she is very much in love.

Rihanna to give interview about Chris Brown’s assault

The first interview with Rihanna about Chris Brown’s assault on her is airing this week on ABC.

The network says the pop star’s one-on-one with Diane Sawyer will air Thursday and Friday on "Good Morning America" and Friday evening on the news magazine "20/20."

Brown’s attack on then-girlfriend Rihanna occurred in February. He was sentenced in August to five years probation, six months of community labor and a year of domestic violence counseling after he pleaded guilty to felony assault.

Rihanna’s ABC interview coincides with the debut of her new single, ‘Russian Roulette, from her upcoming album, "Rated R." It’s her first CD since 2007’s multiplatinum "Good Girl Gone Bad."

Rihanna and her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown reportedly spent time at the same New York hotel over the weekend, even though he is barred from being near her due to a restraining order.

The pair - who are banned from contacting each other after Chris pleaded guilty to felony assault last month following his altercation with Rihanna in February - reportedly stayed at Manhattan’s Trump International Hotel and Tower over the weekend.

The two spent the weekend at the same luxury Midtown hotel under a cloak of secrecy.

Rihanna and Brown appear to have taken great measures to avoid public exposure, including the use of decoy vehicles to throw off reporters and photographers.

Rihanna dumps beau Chris Brown for Negus Sealy

Rihanna has moved over her former beau Chris Brown and is now in the arms of Negus Sealy.

The R&B lady had fallen back in love with 24-year-old Sealy, who has been lending his shoulder to the singer after she suffered a beating at the hands of Brown.

Rihanna and Negus had both realized there was still a strong sexual attraction between them and became inseparable. Whenever Rihanna went to the beach or out partying, Negus was always there.

After getting back with Negus, Rihanna revealed to her family and friends that she was done with Brown and that he is surely history.

Meanwhile, Brown, who allegedly punched, choked, and bit Rihanna before the Grammy’s, has pleaded not guilty to two felony counts in a Los Angeles court last month.
