Irina Shayk has stripped for a stunning new campaign for an Italian lingerie brand Intimissimi, flaunting her figure in a range of pretty underwear. In the photographs, football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo’s girlfriend is seen posing in cheeky red satin knickers embellished with a bow and modelling a diaphanous black lace camisole in another. It is the most recent in a line of quite a few campaigns the model has shot with Intimissimi’s parent brand Calcedonia, who were one of the first lingerie brands to ‘discover’ the Russian model.

In an interview with Esquire magazine, Shayk had divulged that she had been offered “so much money” to pose without clothes for Playboy magazine but she refused the offer as baring all would be a step too far for her.

“I would never do Playboy. Yes, I am a lingerie model, but I have class. Playboy offered me so much money last year. I was like: ‘No. Way,’” she said.

The 25 year old, Shayk, who is dating footballer Cristiano Ronaldo, was seen performing a series of energetic stretches to get warmed up before hitting the streets with an iPod. She was wearing a skimpy bra top and leggings for her bout of exercise, topped off with an Armani Exchange cap and sunglasses to shade herself from the sun’s rays. A regular in the Sports Illustrated swimwear issue, Irina was working out the day after going out for dinner with fellow Sports Illustrated model Jessica White.

The 25-year-old gazed seductively at the camera wearing a bright purple string bikini with her brunette curls tumbling down her back. In another shot, Shayk modelled a black cutaway one-piece as she strikes a fierce pose by the pool. The Russian beauty said her trim physique is down to a love of exercise and not starving herself. “I never really diet. I think that a person can eat what she likes and do some exercises to be in shape- doesn’t matter if it’s going to be gym or swimming or walking in a park or pilates,” said Irina. “It should be a pleasure as positive emotions always make you beautiful! I personally love going to the gym,” she added.

Shayk cried tears of joy as the cover was revealed on The Late Show with David Letterman. She was accompanied on the show by a group of other swimsuit models, but only one could nab the coveted spot. Shayk was pictured laughing and wiping away her tears after the TV host made the shocking announcement.

“To be on the cover of Sports Illustrated is a dream come true. We Russians, you know, we know all the secrets, but I didn’t know I was landing on the cover of Sports Illustrated, and it was so surprising to me. I was in shock; I was crying,” she said.

Shayk beat heavy favourite Brooklyn Decker to the coveted covergirl spot.

The 25-year-old model wore a basque-style sheer top, black stiletto Louboutin boots and incredibly tight PVC trousers for the launch of London-based designer Kinder Aggugini’s latest collection for Macy’s. The racy Russian posed on the red carpet with her friend and fellow model Hilary Rhoda (23), famed for her appearances in the Sports Illustrated Swimwear Issue. The party was held at the Gramercy Park Hotel in NYC.

Footballer Cristiano Ronaldo’s girlfriend Irina Shayk is upset with Spanish GQ after unclothed photos of her were published in the magazine. The 24 year old Russian beauty’s agents threatened to sue the mag over the pictures, which they claim have been digitally altered. However, the magazine insists the underwear model happily stripped off - and has threatened legal action against Shayk’s agents Elite. The stunning brunette posed for GQ in Madrid on November 4 and the magazine published 14 sexy photographs and an interview this week. The front cover shows her smoking a cigarette over the headline: "The most beautiful animal in the world. Do you want to discover Ronaldo’s girlfriend?"

Inside she appears in a series of photographs in lingerie, and in five pictures she seems to be wearing no knickers. One shows her outdoors in just a pair of high heels, and two others only wearing knee-length socks.

"She’s the victim of photographic retouching and negligence by GQ Spain. It wasn’t planned for her to appear naked," said director of Elite models in Spain. Marie said the photos "damaged and harmed the model’s image" and added: "It’s obvious the headline was designed with the sole aim of selling more copies."

The editor of the magazine Javier Fernandez de Angulo, who was present during the photo-shoot, hit back, saying: "The model took her clothes off completely naturally. "Maybe she’s annoyed because we put on the front cover that she’s Ronaldo’s girlfriend, and she asked us to avoid that."

Ironically during the interview Shayk says you don’t have to be naked to feel sexy. She said: "I feel very sexy when I’m wearing lingerie. You don’t have to be naked to feel sexy. I think the power of seduction is within every woman, but of course I feel more sexy wearing lingerie," she added.
