Lara Bingle signs deal with Big Pictures

Aussie bikini model Lara Bingle has signed a deal with a photo agency. She is said to have struck a deal with photo agency Big Pictures for a cut of profits made from her own photos. It is understood rival agencies are seething over the deal, which are generally commonplace in the US. The move means Bingle can create and control the pictures released for sale to magazines and newspapers. Bingle was snapped looking perfect after a long-haul flight from London. The photo had a price tag of 250 dollars and it is thought Bingle would receive about 50 per cent of profits in a deal.

News of an alliance came as a surprise to Bingle’s manager, Titus Day, who denied the pin-up had struck an agreement with self-proclaimed "Mr Paparazzi" Darren Lyons. "We haven’t done any deals with anyone," said Titus Day.

But the millionaire Big Pictures agency owner has been seen lunching with Bingle on several occasions in recent weeks, and the former cricket WAG was seen at Sydney airport recently giving one Big Pictures photographer directions to her location.

Australian fashion model Lara Bingle is eyeing a spot on the annual Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue. The Aussie it-girl was overheard chatting about the US magazine over lunch at The Flying Fish Cafe with a pal recently and sources close to the model say a spot in the annual flesh-fest is at the top of her New Year’s wish-list. A representative for Bingle has earlier denied talks were under way with the international sports magazine but confirmed she is keen to appear in the annual swimwear issue. "It’s definitely something she has talked about in the past and something that is a bit of a dream of hers," said Bingle’s manager Titus Day. "I think it would be a matter of developing her international profile a bit more first and the magazine is known for picking women from all over the world.

"It may happen. But at this stage it’s not something we are actively pursuing. She is looking to move more into the fashion/stylist side of things with a bit of modeling here and there," Day added.

Lara Bingle (still) associated with Speedo

It seems Lara Bingle’s association with Speedo is not over yet. Bingle, technically still the face of this summer’s campaign, made an in-store appearance at the swimwear brand’s Chatswood Chase store, honoring her commitments to the company ahead of her contract’s expiration later this year. However, there is talk Speedo plans to keep the model on its books. The swimwear brand’s marketing manager Tiffany Scott said nothing had been decided yet, but it wasn’t out of the question that Bingle would be re-signed. "We haven’t discussed it with her manager. I think there’s always a possibility with these things, but obviously we’ve signed Rachael Finch," said Scott.

"I have had three big years with Speedo and I am happy to be back in Australia fulfilling my commitments,” Bingle said.

"But as you know, all good things come to an end - some better than others. My focus is on the future, and this year already holds a lot of exciting opportunities as well as adventures," she said.

Lara Bingle’s latest picture with singer-songwriter Jason Derulo on her Twitter page has raised some speculations. The bikini babe has left little doubt of her romance with the Watchya Say chart-topper by posting a picture of them in an intimate embrace on her page for the entire world to see. While the 21-year-old denied the two were in a relationship during a recent UK interview, Bingle called him "baby" in one of her social network posts. At the weekend she posted a happy snap of herself and Derulo "in the studio" in LA.

Bingle met up with the Derulo in Las Vegas last week and they seem to have been together ever since.

Rumours are abuzz that Lara Bingle and US pop star Jason Derulo rekindled their romance in Las Vegas. Bingle, who has been on a ‘working holiday’ in America, was in Las Vegas where she spent New Year. And it is believed she is now in the company of the Ridin’ Solo singer, who has just come off back-to-back performance schedules. The pair has been communicating on Twitter over the week. "NO MORE SLEEPS!!!!" wrote Bingle to Derulo.

The pair first met at the ARIAs in November, which culminated in Bingle chasing the Watcha Say hit-maker to Brisbane.

Yesterday, Bingle tweeted to her buddy Hermione Underwood, "Please come here now!!! Hurry up!!! Call me . . . J asking for you . . ." Underwood replied: "Send my love."

Lara Bingle on Dancing with the Stars

Lara Bingle has reportedly been approached to participate in the new series of ‘Dancing with the Stars’. The swimsuit model had rejected the offer four times but this time she is considering it. Melbourne socialite Brynne Edelsten, wild man adventurer Alby Mangels and saucy chef Manu Feildel are among those on the Dancing wish list.

Bingle will be in the US until early in the New Year.

Jason Derulo has reportedly invited Lara Bingle and a couple of girlfriends to his Brisbane show. Lara flirted with Derulo on-air while co-presenting an award at ARIA Awards. The pair was seen doing the Bondi to Bronte walk when the sun came out, with reports she picked him up from his hotel before taking the scenic route. "Yes, that is true. They became friends at the ARIAs and he invited her and a couple of friends to his show. Lara also took Jason and his posse on the walk," said a friend. Insiders reveal that despite some talk a few months back, Bingle will not be filling in for radio presenter Jackie O, who goes on maternity leave shortly.

She was called in at the last minute to replace O on Friday morning when O called in sick on Thursday night, with reports she had spent the night at the Mater Hospital.

"Lara is definitely not doing the show when Jackie goes," a well-informed radio insider said.

While Kyle Sandilands’s manager Andrew Hawkins would not divulge any further information - "we can’t say who it is" - word has it that Sophie Monk is definitely a frontrunner for keeping the 2DayFM seat warm.

Lara Bingle skips Acne launch

Australian model Lara Bingle did not show up at a lavish lunch of Swedish label Acne in Sydney on Sunday.

Lara was expected to be one of the star guests at the soiree, held at Strickland House in Vaucluse.

Her absence left the organisers of the event disappointed. A host of photographers were also eagerly waiting for the model to arrive at the event.

Bingle had been lent clothes by the label and had sent her RSVP to the hosts.

Since she did not attend the event, it was left to other partygoers including stylist Jo Ferguson and Vogue’s Kirsty Clements to enjoy the event, which included one room of the mansion being transformed with a real grass lawn.
