Celina Jaitley to do a Bengali film
Celina JaitleyCelina Jaitley has already dabbled in Telugu and Kannada films and the former beauty queen now wants to work in a Bengali film, preferably one with Rituparno Ghosh.

"I have spent a lot of time in West Bengal and this is the reason I can easily associate myself with the place, culture and the language. I would really love to work in a Bengali movie because I feel they make very emotional and interesting movies”, said Celina.

"The way they weave stories is fascinating. They simply touch the human chord. I would love to work with Ritu-da. This would be one of my targets for the next year," she said.

Celina is riding high after winning the best female actor award for her performance in the English film "Love Has No Language" at the 33rd Cairo International Film Festival (CIFF) held Nov 10-20. The movie was a New Zealand entry at the film festival.

"This year has been so good. Winning this award has been an icing on the cake. These awards work as a motivation factor and help you perform better. As the role was a bit different from the conventional roles I do, it worked," said the actress.

"I have always seen that whenever I have attempted something different, I have been appreciated," she added.

"Love Has No Language", an engaging romantic movie, was directed by Ken Khan and stars New Zealand actor Ben Mitchell as well as Hindi film actors Rati Agnihotri and Kiran Kumar.

The 28 year old, who has featured in Hindi movies like "Janasheen", "No Entry" and "Golmaal Returns", has seven movies in her kitty and is confident that she will make her presence felt on the big screen next year.

The model turned actress doesn’t understand why people question her if she opts to do only a few movies.

"If Aamir Khan does one movie at a time, he is applauded but if Celina Jaitley chooses to do a few movies, she is criticised. Why such disparity?" the actress asked.

Apart from acting, Celina is involved with People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) and is also a gay rights activist.

"In my free time, I love to work for the causes I strongly feel for. All these things are no substitute for romance but they are something that I feel responsible for," she said.

"I choose to live my life fully and it deserves appreciation," she added.

The actress will soon be seen in movies like “Accident On Hill Road”, “Run Bhola Run” and “Chai Garam”.

Celina Jaitley inspired by Kate Moss
Celina jaitley
Celina Jaitley has agreed to pose in a two-piece bikini for a popular film. She reveals that she was inspired by international supermodel Kate Moss who dared to show how much one can go bare. This is not the first time that Kate Moss has occurred in reference to Celina. During her modelling days, the industry used to address her as Indian Kate Moss.

She had seen the swimwear shoot of Kate Moss and she admitted that she believed to do something on the same lines. “I was really inspired and wanted to do a shoot which is quite beautiful and of course very sensuous," said Celina.

She looks pretty presented with not just have the pictures but also with stylish poses which were different from the typical dolled-up way that so many of our actresses shoot.

Celina Jaitly goes PETA ways- Shackled- Beaten- Abused
Celina Jaitley- she is hot, hotter and hottest- all the three degrees combined into one. Such is the beauty of this lass, and the shocking part is that her body has been chained all over.
Celina Jaitly-PETA
Celina Jaitly has just shot an ad for PETA (People for The Ethical Treatment of Animals), in an effort to raise awareness about the cruelty endured by captive elephants. The super-cool ad, whose tagline reads as “Shackled, Beaten, Abused”, has been shot by the ace photographer Rakesh Shrestha. Talking about the sensitivity and the bare-truth of this ad, Celina said, "In Mumbai and other parts of India, I have seen so many elephants that are kept in such bad conditions in captivity. I think PETA has taken a very good step, and I am proud to be associated with this cause."

PETA India's Anuradha Sawhney added, "Captive conditions cannot provide for the complex needs of elephants. These majestic animals belong in the wild, but instead they are locked up like criminals - even though they have committed no crime. A more respectful way to observe these animals is through fascinating wildlife programmes on TV."

Happy Birthday to Celina Jaitley
If there's one word that does total justice to this lady's overall persona, then it has to be 'Gifted'. God has blessed her with eyes that speak volumes of love, hair that's enough to give the Rapunzels of the world an inferiority complex, lips that are an inspiration to a million architects, smile that can launch a thousand ships, skin tone that has the best of glaciers melting itself down...well, the list is practically endless! The 'gifted' lady in question is none other than Bollywood's very own Celina Jaitley, who also happens to be today's Birthday Girl!

With her father and brother serving the army and her mother being a child psychologist, punctuality and duty comes natural to this enviable beauty! Little do people know that, post her graduation this Bombshell had lent her expertise by working in a cell phone company in Kolkata! We are sure of the fact that the said company's sales must have rocketed every single day! Soon after that, it was Bollywood calling for this ex-Miss India! With films like Janasheen, No Entry, Apna Sapna Money Money, Tom Dick and Harry, Zinda etc... to her credit, there is just one way for this beauty...up and only up!

Here are B'day Wishes to Celina!!!

Celina Jaitley at her first international film premiere

Violently ill and shivering with the cold at the premiere of her first international film, Love Has No Language, in Auckland on Nov 5, Celina Jaitley rubbed shoulders with the crème de la crème of New Zealand. And that too in the pouring rain.

"It was the grandest premiere I ever attended," gushes Celina. Days after the premiere she's in a daze.

"800 Asians turned up to meet me besides the 325 formal invitees. We had the crème de la crème of New Zealand attending, including television film and sports personalities."

Prominent in the sports section of attendees was New Zeland's rugby star Monty Beetham who was quite taken up with Celina. Apparently, his eyes trailed our Celina across the premiere venue.

Laughs Celina, "I'm no stranger to male attention. Though I met Beetham only briefly, I believe he was quite taken up by what he called the Indian beauty. I was just floored by all the attention I got."

Hours before the premiere, Celina wasn't sure if she would be able to attend. "I was down with this acute tummy infection. I was doubling up with cramps and pain. I really thought I wouldn't be able to attend. But at the last minute, I squeezed into my Manish Malhotra gown and dragged myself to the red carpet. The effort was worth it."

The movie got a standing ovation. "Not only that, people stood in the pouring rain for autographs and pictures. I tried to oblige everyone. The New Zealanders are extremely warm. As I shook hands with them, the freezing cold melted away. Never mind my gown shrank into a mini-skirt."
Celina cuts down all chances of a romance with her co-star. She describes her Love Has No Language co-star Ben Mitchell as scary and horrifying. "He scared the hell out of me with bugs and butterflies all the time. Believe it or not, I'm terrified of butterflies. And although the film is called Love Has No Language, I couldn't understand anything he said because of his Kiwi accent. Maybe because I wasn't really in love with him."

Celina Jaitley absolutely comfortable in a bikini
Celina Jaitley is definitely one of the most stylish people in the industry. So we asked the bombshell who she thinks is the most stylish person she has ever come across in Bollywood. Guess what her answer was? "To be honest I will have to say none in Bollywood. I mean seriously, we are really style deprived," she said.

So nobody on this planet appeals to our siren? "Of course people do, but only in Hollywood. Like, I love Rihanna, the international pop star. She has an amazing fashion sense and is really distinguished and original. Yes, that's all," she said. Okay! High standards, we have to say. And what about her own style quotient, how much would she rate herself out of 10? "Well, I will have to be a little biased here and say an 8.5 at the least. That is because I am very comfortable in whatever I wear, be it a bikini or anything else. And comfort is what matters the most when it comes to style. And of course, how you carry yourself is very important also," said the actress.

Mmmm… really, is she absolutely comfortable in a bikini? "I am very comfortable. I am confident about my body and I have no qualms about wearing a bikini whatsoever. Why else would I wear it if I wasn't comfortable?" she asked. Right… why else would she wear it! The actress sure seemed on an answering spree so we went ahead and asked her about her favourite actress, expecting a 'none in Bollywood' answer!

She said, "There are three actually. Surprised?" Yeah we were of course. "And they are my 'No Entry' co-stars Lara Dutta, Bipasha Basu and Esha Deol. Lara is amazingly cool, I have to mention," she remarked.

Well that's what we like about this girl. She defies us at every point. But, really, the actress needs to get a little more real! But then, wait a minute… isn't that the Celina we all adore?
