Actress Halle Berry, who has created three successful perfumes, will be honoured with celebrity fragrance of the year award at FiFi Awards. "For years, I have created my own personal scents by mixing and layering fragrances, trying to come up with something unique and different. It’s a wonderful form of self-expression and I am thrilled to share these fragrances with consumers worldwide," said Berry. Her three perfumes are called Halle by Halle Berry, Pure Orchid and Reveal. The US Fragrance Foundation each year chooses one celebrity who has especially contributed to attracting shoppers to the industry, with past winners including Paris Hilton and Usher.

Black Eyed Peas star Fergie is being presented with the new fragrance celebrity of the year award for Outspoken, while legendary designer Jean Paul Gaultier will receive the Hall of Fame award.

Oscar-winning actress Halle Berry, who was involved in a bitter custody battle with her ex-boyfriend, seems to be back on normal terms with Gabriel Aubry.The former couple have decided to put their differences behind for the sake of their three-year-old daughter Nahla. "When there’s a child involved, it’s a relief when you can resolve things in a good way," the 44-year-old actress said.Berry, who is now dating French actor Olivier Martinez, said the court proceedings have gone well. "Our issues were never about fighting for her. We both know a child needs both her parents. But what I want to say about it is sometimes, as a couple, you reach an impasse. We needed a court and a judge to help us work out some of the delicate issues, and I’m so happy we’ve arrived at that place because for her sake, this is the best way. We both love her more than life," the actress added.

The couple split last April and then Aubry, a French-Canadian model, filed court papers on December 30 seeking formal recognition as Nahla’s father and joint legal and physical custody.In January, Berry’s rep issued a statement saying, "Halle has serious concerns for her daughter's well-being while in the care of her father for any extended period of time."

A representative for Aubrey (34), responded. "The fact is that Gabriel is a caring father who shares custody of Nahla," the statement read.

Halle Berry encourages women to Reveal

Halle Berry has named her third fragrance ‘Reveal’ because she wants to encourage women to share their stories. The Oscar-winning actress has joined hands with cosmetics giant Coty to produce her new perfume and she expressed the hope that the fragrance which blends plumeria, peach and mimosa will allow women to reveal more of themselves. "Reveal is an invitation for women to share their story, to reveal some parts of themselves that they have not yet expressed. It has a perfect balance. Light and fresh, it becomes sexier and more mysterious as you wear it," she said.

The 44-year-old has previously admitted she was surprised by the success of her perfume range - her debut scent ‘Halle’ by Halle Berry was launched last year and ‘Pure Orchid’ just five months ago.

Now she hopes to repeat the success history once again with ‘Reveal’.

Halle Berry to be honoured at Guild Awards

Oscar-winning actress Halle Berry is to be honoured at the annual costume designers Guild Awards next month. She will receive the newly titled Lacoste spotlight award at the stylish event at Los Angeles’ Beverly Hilton Hotel on Feb 22. The star-studded ceremony which pays tribute to the best in film, television and commercial costume design will be hosted by "Sex and the City 2" star Kristin Davis, who is bound to woo the audience with her choice of stylish dresses. Costume designer Julie Weiss will be honoured with the disaronno career achievement in film and television award, which will be presented to her by screen legend Robert Duvall, while Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore will introduce Julie with a video montage highlighting her expansive career.

Other notable honorees include director Joel Schumacher, who will be presented with the distinguished collaborator award, and the late costume designer Michael Denniso, who will be inducted into the Guild’s Hall of Fame.

Actress Halle Berry and her actor boyfriend Olivier Martinez have reportedly given each other keys to their respective apartments so that they don’t have to spend any time apart. "These two are so much in love, they want to spend as much time together as possible. They hate being apart even for one night if they can help it," said a source.

"They want to be home together as neither of them particularly likes meeting in hotels," the source added.

The couple, who have been dating since September, are currently living in Berry’s Beverly Hills mansion, but the actress, who has a two-year-old daughter Nahla with ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry, is keen to spend more time in her lover’s native France.

The two will co-star in Katori Hall’s play ‘The Mountaintop’. In the play, Berry will portray a hotel maid who delivers a meal to US Civil Rights leader Martin Luther King Jr. on the night before he’s assassinated.

Jackson will portray King, and the play is set in Lorraine Motel in Memphis, Tennessee.

Halle Berry to launch her third fragrance

Oscar-winning actress Halle Berry is all set to launch her third fragrance ‘Reveal’.

"I’ve always wanted to have my own scent. When I was younger, I never wanted to smell like every other girl in class. Even as an adult, I’d mix different perfumes together," said Halle.

"Some days it would be great and people would say, ‘Oh, what fragrance is that?’ And I would say, “Well, it’s about five different ones!”

Halle has joined hands with cosmetics brand Coty to produce her new floral perfume "Reveal".

Steve Mormoris, senior vice president of global marketing at Coty, said, "Halle is an actress and a very emotional person - she loves art and beauty, and she’s a great creator. Halle’s fragrances resonate with the consumer much more than we thought. We are double in size".

"I guess we underestimated your fan base," he added.

Despite becoming an instant scent success, Halle, who has a two-year-old daughter Nahla, was uncertain her perfumes would be popular.

"We weren’t sure what to expect. I was more worried than anybody," Halle added.

The new scent will be available in both "mid-tier" department stores and mass market shops.

Halle Berry to receive top leadership honour

Halle Berry is set to be honoured with a top leadership award for her contribution to the entertainment industry.

The Oscar-winning actress will receive The Sherry Lansing Leadership Award at annual Hollywood Reporter Women in Entertainment event on December 4.

The former Bond girl will grace the stage at the Beverly Hills Hotel in California at the industry publication’s 18th annual Power 100: Women in Entertainment breakfast.

Her predecessors to land the accolade include Meryl Streep and Jodie Foster, Glenn Close, US news anchor Barbara Walters and movie mogul Lansing herself.

The suave and the sophisticated Halle Berry is Esquire's new Sexiest Woman Alive. "Being 42 and having just had a baby, I think I'll take it," she said after being bestowed the honour of the sexiest woman alive.

Halle Berry may be a mommy of a certain age, but the men's magazine Esquire says the Oscar-winning actress is still the Sexiest Woman Alive.

In an article posted on the magazine's website, Berry poses in a parody of a 2000 cover photograph of former US President Bill Clinton, and writes about what she thinks of winning Esquire's annual honor for the first time.

Esquire said it dressed Berry in a racier version of Clinton's suit jacket and blue tie to recreate an iconic cover for its 75th anniversary celebration.

Berry starred last year in the movie 'Things We Lost in the Fire' and is due to star next year in 'Frankie and Alice,' a film about a woman with multiple personality disorder.

In the Esquire article, Berry describes things she finds sexy. It turns out that spaghetti and wine are major turn-ons. "Sexy is not about wearing sexy clothes or shaking your booty until you damn near get hip dysplasia; it's about knowing that sexiness is a state of mind - a comfortable state of being," she said.

Berry won an Oscar in 2002 for her role in the movie 'Monster's Ball'. She played the wife of an executed murderer who becomes romantically involved with a guard at the prison where her husband had been held.

Berry gave birth to a baby girl. The father is Berry's partner, French-Canadian model Gabriel Aubry, 32.

Berry has been married and divorced twice. Her first marriage was to baseball player David Justice. She adopted the daughter of her second husband, musician Eric Benet, but the couple broke up in 2003.
