Jessica Biel on Batman's short-list

Christopher Nolan is looking at some of Hollywood’s leading actresses - as well as a few emerging talents - for major female roles in "The Dark Knight Rises," his next Batman film. Sources reveal that Keira Knightley, Anne Hathaway and Jessica Biel are due to test for roles in the Warner Bros. superhero tentpole in the next two weeks. Also testing are relative newcomers Kate Mara and Charlotte Riley. Hot British actress Gemma Arterton was also scheduled to test but Arterton just landed the female lead in Paramount’s "Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters" and might now have scheduling issues. "Dark Knight Rises" needs to fill two big female roles, a villain and a love interest. Sources say one character is Talia, the daughter of villain Ra’s Al Ghul, who was portrayed by Liam Neeson in Nolan’s first Gotham-set crime pic "Batman Begins." In the comic books, Talia is both Batman’s lover and antagonist, ultimately siring his alter ego Bruce Wayne’s son. While Knightley, Hathaway and Jessica Biel are well-known actresses, the other two are up-and-comers. Mara had brief roles in "127 Hours" and "Iron Man 2" in 2010. Her sister Rooney Mara is currently shooting David Fincher’s "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" in the title role.

Riley is a British actress who has done mostly TV work. She is engaged to Tom Hardy, who co-starred in Nolan’s summer smash "Inception" and has already booked an unspecified role in "Dark Knight Rises."

The film is looking at a May start, with shooting to take place in London and Los Angeles. Christian Bale is set to return as the Caped Crusader. However, Nolan and Warner Bros. have declined to comment.

Keira Knightley threatened by a fan

British actress Keira Knightley felt threatened by a fan. This fan would turn up regularly outside a theatre, and reported him to police.

The fan would regularly wait outside a stage door at the Comedy Theatre, where the actress is performing in "The Misanthrope".

The 41 year old man was apprehended outside the venue and taken into custody.

According to a source, "Keira felt threatened by this guy who turned up a number of times and tried to speak to her. He did not make any specific threats to her but she was concerned enough to call the police”.

Keira Knightley prefers men who can cry

Hollywood actress Keira Knightley has admitted that she is attracted to guys who can show their emotions and cry.

"On screen these days, you rarely see a big, strong man. You see slender, androgynous-looking boys. For me, the most manly thing a guy can ever do is to cry because he is one who is in touch with himself," said Knightley.

Twenty four year old Knightley, who is dating her "Pride and Prejudice" co-star Rupert Friend, also insists that she would never have an affair with any of her co-stars because they do not view her as a potential lover.

"I could never have an affair with any of my leading men. They always turn into brothers", she said.

Rihanna has Sexiest Stomach in the World

The 20-year-old Barbados-born beauty, renowned for her revealing stage outfits, has topped a new poll of the 'Sexiest Celebrity Stomach in the World'. She came first in the poll conducted by stomach-flattening supplement AntiBloat, reports China Daily.

Second on the list was Keira Knightley, who is famous for wearing midriff-flashing costumes, and who has bared her taut abs in movies including 'Bend It Like Beckham' and 'King Arthur'.

Dame Helen Mirren, who recently wowed onlookers with her trim physique when she donned a bikini while on holiday in the Italian Riviera, came third in the poll.

Sienna Miller, who showed off her enviable toned figure in a skimpy bikini while on holiday recently, shared the fourth spot with Liz Hurley.

Rounding off the top five was Jemima Khan, an English socialite known due to her relationships as Hugh Grant's ex-girlfriend, the former wife of Pakistani cricketer Imran Khan, and a daughter of late billionaire James Goldsmith.

"The survey results reveal that a sexy stomach isn't governed by age, which is good news for all those wanting to tone up or maintain a flat tummy," AntiBloat spokesperson Jalal Janmohamed said.
