It has emerged that Angelina Jolie has signed a 6.45-million-pounds deal to become the new face of fashion label Louis Vuitton. The contract is believed to be a record for a single advertising campaign, beating the 3.2-million-pounds deal won by Catherine Zeta-Jones to promote T-Mobile. It dwarfs the 2.5-million-pounds Nicole Kidman was paid to be the face of Chanel perfume and 1.9-million-pounds Gwyneth Paltrow got from Estee Lauder. Reports in the US said, 35 year old, Hollywood babe Angelina is due to take part in a photo shoot with famed photographer Annie Leibowitz. The adverts for the French label will appear in newspapers and magazines later this year.

Hollywood beauty Angelina Jolie has reportedly signed a worldwide endorsement deal with Louis Vuitton. Sources close to the agreement told E! Online that the Oscar-winning actress will be paid close to 10 million dollars for lending her famous face to the brand. The "Tourist" actress who raises six children Maddox, nine, Pax, seven, Zahara, six, Shiloh, four, and two-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne with actor Brad Pitt - has signed a high-profile, print-only deal with the French brand. The international print ad campaign is scheduled to launch this summer with photographer Annie Leibowitz at the helm. According to E! News, the deal would see Jolie earn "close to 66 million pounds ($9.90 million) for the modelling contract."The 35-year-old beauty, who has recently launched a jewellery line, would be following in the footsteps of Madonna and Jennifer Lopez, who have both modelled for Louis Vuitton in the past.

Angelina Jolie to adopt fourth child from Haiti

Actress Angelina Jolie is reportedly set to adopt a four-year-old orphaned girl from Caribbean nation Haiti. Jolie who already has three adopted children, and naturally conceived Shiloh, four, and two-year-old twins, first met the child in February 2010, a month after the natural disaster. "Angelina’s lawyers are in the process of getting an authorisation so Leah can spend some time with her in America. That’s standard procedure, basically they need to make sure Leah will adapt well," said a source. "A lot of observers from groups such as the Red Cross are ensuring that Angelina is treated like anybody else and not fast tracked, which would be viewed insidiously," the source added.

There are worries that the adoption authorities may not be able to cope with the massive interest in Angelina’s plans, but the 35-year-old screen star determined to get through the "final steps" to adopt Leah.

"There is also a concern about the Haitian authorities not being able to deal with such international pressure. But for now, Angelina is almost reaching the final steps of the gruelling adoption process," the source added.

Angelina Jolie donates $ 2 million to African wildlife sanctuary

Hollywood couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have donated USD 2 million to a wildlife sanctuary in Namibia where they had spent Christmas with their six children. The donation to the Naankuse Wildlife Sanctuary was made in the name of their eldest biological child, daughter Shiloh, who was born in the African country in 2006. They returned this Christmas with Shiloh and her five siblings to the sanctuary, which looks after orphaned and injured animals, including lions, leopards, cheetahs and baboons.

The sanctuary, run by Dr Rudie van Vuuren and wife Marlice, were given the money through the couple’s Jolie-Pitt Foundation. "We have known Rudie and Marlice for many years and continue to be impressed by their hard work and dedication to the people and conservation of the land and wildlife of Namibia," said 35-year-old Jolie.

During their holiday, the couple’s children helped the staff at the lodge to feed and care for baby baboons, foxes and saw a leopard released into the wild.

Angelina Jolie designs jewellery

Angelina Jolie has teamed up with designer Robert Procop to create a jewellery line ‘The Protector’ to help child victims of war and natural disasters. The jewellery collection will be sold through the designer’s clients with all proceeds going to ‘Education Partnership for Children of Conflict’, a charity co-founded by the ‘Changeling’ star. "These are the children who most need a safe place to learn, a place to heal, a place to learn reconciliation, a place to build a better future and a place, to just be children," said the 35 year old actress. Jolie wore one of the pieces from the collection, a faceted black necklace set in rose gold, to the Berlin premiere of her film ‘Salt’ earlier this year.

Robert, who has designed for the actress for a decade now, said, "Angelina has very classic style. These are pieces she wears herself."

A representative for actress Angelina Jolie has rubbished reports that she is expecting another baby with partner Brad Pitt. America’s Star magazine had reported that the couple, who raise six young children together, is preparing to welcome a new addition to the family.

Angelina Jolie has become the only woman to have joined Hollywood hardmen Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger in the Top 10 action hero list.

The Oscar-winning star of ‘Lara Croft: Tomb Raider’ and recent action spy thriller ‘Salt’ was ranked seven with only two percent votes in the survey conducted by online sports nutrition brand ‘myprotein’.

And it was tough guy Stallone, who topped the poll, in which almost 2,000 British men and women voted for their ultimate action hero.

The 64-year-old star of ‘Rocky’, ‘Rambo’ and ‘The Expendables’ scooped 31 per cent of the vote and beat ‘Terminator’ star Schwarzenegger, who came second with 24 per cent.

Angelina Jolie buys $40 million mansion in Italy

Celebrity couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have bought a 40-million-dollar mansion in Italy - the couple’s third home.

They own a luxurious Los Angeles mansion and a 3.5 million dollar French-style home in New Orleans.

Situated in the Northern Italian hills of Valpolicella, the property boasts 18,000 square feet and 15 bedrooms, seven baths, a movie theater, two swimming pools, a gym and several Jacuzzis.

The property also has stables and a vineyard.

Jolie apparently fell in love with Italy after filming ‘The Tourist’ there earlier this year.

Jolie and Brad intend to use the Italian property as a vacation home and continue to use their Loz Feliz house as their main base.

Angelina Jolie no longer attracted to Brad Pitt

Angelina Jolie is apparently not happy with partner Brad Pitt these days.

The National Enquirer reports that the actress hates Pitt’s shabby look.

She is said to be urging the actor to get rid of his ridiculous beard hiding his bad looks and have a facelift.

“Angie told Brad he looked like a total wreck and needed to do something radical before she found him attractive again,” said a source.

“The sad truth is Brad looks like a pale shadow of his former self. His skin is in terrible condition and he’s grown this ridiculous beard to try and cover-up how bad he looks underneath.

Angelina Jolie funded Afghanistan school for 800 girls

The primary school for girls, which Angelina Jolie funded in Tangi, Afghanistan, is all set to open its doors to 800 students.

Angelina, the UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador, visited a refugee settlement in Afghanistan’s eastern Nangarhar province and donated a whopping 75,000 dollars toward the school’s construction.

The school is set to begin classes next Monday, when their school year begins.

Although UNICEF built classrooms in the area accommodating 1300 students two years ago, many parents hesitated, for cultural reasons, to send their daughters to a school also used by boys.

"I always had hopes and dreams of going to school. The hope to become a qualified teacher has revived in me,” Us magazine quoted a 14-year-old girl named Laila, as expressing her excitement about the new school.

Igbal Azizi, head of the region’s provincial education, stressed the importance of Jolie’s gift, saying that Tangi girls, "otherwise would have been deprived of education."

However, Jolie, filming ‘The Tourist’ in Venice, Italy, failed to make it for the new school’s celebration.

Angelina Jolie to adopt a Chinese baby

Angelina Jolie is considering adopting a Chinese baby along with hubby Brad Pitt to add to the six kids in their brood.

Angelina Jolie was inspired by her feelings of sympathy for victims of the earthquake that devastated China in May that left many children orphaned.

A source told Britain’s Star magazine: “Angelina Jolie is devastated over the earthquake that occurred in China in May. She has been in constant touch with relief workers as part of her UN involvement, and even got her hands on photos of a few orphaned kids. She’s made overtures offering a home to one earthquake orphan, or even two if they are siblings.”

Angelina Jolie is a mother to three biological children, Shiloh and twins Knox and Vivienne and three adopted children namely Maddox, Pax and Zahara. She admits she is finding it hard coping with the babies, but is getting help from the rest of her family.

She added in an interview with Hello! magazine, which has published the first pictures of the twins: “It is chaos, but we are managing it and having a wonderful time. Shiloh calls the twins her babies. She and Zahara pick out their clothes, help change and hold them. It’s sweet - they are like little mommies.”
