Malaika Arora Not Paying Attention To Trolls

Actress Malaika Arora, who has been a target of several trolls, said she doesn't pay attention to them. “I don't pay attention to trolls and that is the best way to deal with them,” said Malaika.

Last week, she posted a collage of throwback photographs of herself taking a dip in the sea. She captioned it: “Summer Loving. Take me back.”

She received some unpleasant feedback from a few followers who trolled her for wearing a bikini while swimming.

She said, “This is an old picture from my trip to the Maldives last year. People seemed to have a point of view on my attire in the pictures. To all those people, I just have one question: What as per you is the appropriate attire to wear while swimming or diving in the ocean?”

“To my knowledge, it is swimsuits that one uses the world over when considering water focused outdoor activities. If people think we should be wearing something else, please enlighten me.”

As per reports Katrina, who was offered a whopping sum to perform on her latest song ‘Sheila Ki Jawaani’ by two leading hotels, has turned down the offer in favour of some quality time with her family. The actress was reportedly offered a sum of Rs 3 crores but she has refused the proposal. Katrina who has had a very busy year promoting and acting on her films ‘Tees Maar Khan’ and ‘Raajneeti’, wants to take time off. The actress has extensive vacation plans and is looking to cut off from Tinseltown and spend time only with her family members and close friends. Reports suggest that two hotels in India and one abroad were looking to get Katrina. However, Kat is in the mood to travel.

The actress might be travelling to London to bring in the New Year. She also has plans to travel with her mother Sussana Mary Turcotte to her philanthropic organisation at Madhurai. Joining them will be Kat’s sister, Isabel.

And Kat is not alone in choosing family over money. Recently Priyanka Chopra too, had turned down a plum offer from a suburban hotel near the domestic airport. They were ready to pay her Rs.3 crore for a 10 minute performance as a star attraction, but Piggy Chops opted out.

Malaika Arora dazzles in a Rs 6 Crore Bustier

Malaika Arora is back in the limelight with her risqué number in the film Dabangg. Cashing in on her re-established item queen tag, she was in the Capital for a fashion show by diamond jewellery brand ORRA at the launch of their flagship store.

The glamorous fashion show displayed collections of jewellery crafted by ORRA's design centers in London, New York, Tokyo, Antwerp and Mumbai. ORRA is a part of Rosyblue - one of the largest diamond manufacturing companies in the world.

While Carol Gracias, Indrani Dasgupta, Krishna Somani and other international models showcased the jewellery on the runway, Malaika was the showstopper at the event in a dazzling bustier worth a million euros.

The bustier is worth 1.3 million dollars which is approximately Rs 6 crore and was crafted from more than 1300 finest Belgian diamonds.

These multi-million dollar "one of a kind" creations have only been seen on lingerie giant Victoria Secret's runways sported by supermodels such as Heidi Klum, Marissa Miller, Miranda Kerr and Alessandra Ambrosio.

Unlike her international counterparts, Malaika's glittering ensemble was in fact not a bra but a bustier that she wore with a sari.

She may be adventurous on screen but off it the lass knows how to flaunt her style without overly offending Indian sensibilities.

While most of the models wore cocktail gowns that showed off the jewellery, Malaika's sari hid most of the glittering bustier. The Bollywood siren might have chosen an Indian ensemble to stay true to her current "munni" image.

According to Vijay Jain, ORRA CEO, "India is now ready for a whole segment of luxury shopping and ORRA's diamond boutique offers the customers just that."

Malaika Arora to showcase Million Euro diamond bustier

Item girl and Bollywood actress Malaika Arora will dazzle in a diamond-studded bustier costing a million euros when she walks the ramp as a showstopper for a jewellery store in the capital.

The bustier is crafted from over 500 carats of the finest Belgian diamonds, said a statement from ORRA, the jewellery store.

Apart from Malaika, popular models like Carol Gracias, Indrani Dasgupta and Krishna Somani will be showcasing the jewellery, crafted by ORRA’s design centres in London, New York, Tokyo, Antwerp and Mumbai.

Malaika Arora reveals her weakness

Model turned anchor turned item girl Malaika Arora reveals the best thing that has happened to her.

'Arhaan is the best thing that happened to me. For anyone it's the greatest joy to have a child and for every mother her child is her weakness. And, yes, he is my weakness,' says the 'Chhaiya Chhaiya' girl. And she thanks Arhaan for whatever she is today.

The 34-year-old is all geared up for her first full-length role as an actress opposite Arjun Rampal in Suniel Shetty's EMI.

'I am really excited about 'EMI'. I play Arjun's love interest in the film. The film talks about easy monthly instalments (EMI) and how people who take such loans are not able to repay them,' adds Malaika.

On being asked if there are any films with Arbaaz in the pipeline, Malaika said: 'There's no film as of now, but there is a song that I am doing with him. I have done a song with him earlier (for Shubha Mudgal's album Dholna), but this is the first time I am pairing up with him for a film song.'

The couple will soon be seen grooving to a number in Indrajith Lankesh's 'Shaadi Ke After Effects'.

Apart from her stint on television as MTV's popular video jockey, Malaika has played judge on reality dance show 'Nach Baliye' and also hosted NDTV Imagine's music show 'Dhoom Macha De'.
