‘Twilight’ star Ashley Greene loves to keep her red carpet outfits under wraps and prefers not to ask her co-stars for fashion tips. Greene, who portrays vampire Alice Cullen in the popular vampire series loves to be surprised by what her castmates are wearing when they arrive at the same events. "The ‘Twilight’ cast don’t consult each other about red carpet looks, so it’s a surprise on the night. We’re like, Oh my God, I love your outfit," said the 24-year-old screen beauty. Greene, who is currently dating singer Joe Jonas prefers simple outfits and does not take long to get ready for any major Hollywood event.

"My style in a nutshell is anything by J. Mendel. I don’t generally wear patterns. I don’t take too long to get ready, I work with such a good team they’ve cut it down to one hour," she added.

Ashley Greene almost arrested in Abu Dhabi

Twilight star Ashley Greene and her singer boyfriend Joe Jonas were almost arrested at an Abu Dhabi airport after the latter accidentally left a set of knives in his carry-on luggage. The couple, who have been dating for about four months, were stopped by security after the newly-bought cheese knives were found in the 21-year-old ‘Camp Rock’ star’s bag. Greene said, "We were going from the Middle East to New York, so there was tons of security, tons of screenings. We got through one, surprisingly enough. "The second one we got to and they stopped and looked at us with these really stern faces. They were like, ‘What’s in your bag?’ I look at Joe and there are these flashbacks of this knife set we got. They were cheese cutting knives. I look at Joe and I’m like, ‘Did you leave the knives in the bag?’ He’s like, ‘Whoopsies.’

"Whoopsies doesn’t cut it. We were going to get arrested!" "It was embarrassing," Greene said in an interview to US talk show host George Lopez. The interview marked the first time the 23-year-old actress has confirmed she is dating Joe.

"I have been in Peru, I was in Columbia, Argentina, Chile and then we just got back from Abu Dhabi. I was there for pleasure - my boyfriend was on tour and I had some time off so I went out to support him. He’s really sweet," she said.

Ashley Greene wants to be Bond Girl

Twilight star Ashley Greene has high hopes pinned on her acting career and wants to become the next Bond girl.

The 22 year old actress, who plays the character of Alice in the vampire movie series, does not want to appear in low-key roles any more and is aiming straight at a Bond movie.

"I want to hit up James Bond. That would be awesome," said Greene, who is busy promoting her upcoming movie ‘New Moon’.

Greene admitted that she only felt nervous after landing the role when she realised how much attention the films were attracting.

"Oh, my God, I wanted this part so badly! I worked my butt off for it because I absolutely love Alice, my character. She’s sweet, sexy, and a killer! So when they told me I got it, I tried to play it all cool, you know, for about a minute," said Greene.

"Suddenly the Twilight blogs started picking it up, and then fans were there taking photos, and I’m on the news, and I was like, ‘What?’ And then I got really nervous," she added.
