Sonakshi Sinha to play Kamal Haasan’s wife

The ‘Dabangg’ hottie Sonakshi Sinha has confirmed doing a film with South superstar Kamal Haasan. Said Sonakshi, “I’m happy that an actor of his caliber has noticed my performance and wants me to share screen space with him.” Junior Shotgun, who has grown up watching the Tamil superstar’s films, is ecstatic about the film offer. She will be flying to London shortly to shoot for the film. " I’ve grown up watching films of his like ‘Sadma’, ‘Ek Duje Ke Liye’, ‘Appu Raja’ and ‘Chachi 420’ and have immensely appreciated his performances. Things always manage to fall into place for me as has this. I landed up with this film during a break after the first schedule of ‘Joker’ so it was all very convenient for me,” said the actress.

Reportedly, Sonakshi will be playing Kamal’s wife! The actress, who is playing Akshay Kumar’s love interest in Shirish Kunder’s ‘Joker’, will be romancing Kamal, who is almost her father’s age. And the beauty is a year younger to Kamal’s daughter Shruti.

Sonakshi Sinha to romance Kamal Haasan

Sonakshi Sinha has definitely made a big splash in Bollywood and impressed one and all. And the lass with the 'Mast Mast Do Nain' has even grabbed veteran actor Kamal Haasan’s attention. The star kid has conveniently managed to sweep the legendry actor off his feet with her impressive debut with Salman Khan’s ‘Dabangg’. Buzz has it that Kamal Haasan would like to romance the hottie in his upcoming flick. The film is inspired by Sir Anthony Hopkins’ ‘Hannibal’. And Kamal wants to cast Sonakshi to play the female lead, originally played by Julianne Moore. A source close to the multi-talented personality said, “Kamal Sir is doing a film that is reportedly inspired by Sir Anthony Hopkins’ ‘Hannibal’. Since Sonakshi’s acting talents in ‘Dabangg’ have been applauded, Kamal is keen to have her in the role essayed by Julianne Moore."

The ‘Dabangg’ beauty is presently shooting with Akshay Kumar for Shirish Kunder’s Joker in Punjab’s capital. And filmmaker Selvamurugan, who will be directing Kamal’s next project, is believed to be giving Sonakshi a narration of the film very soon.

And after conquering Bollywood producers, Sonakshi’s beauty and talent have cast a spell down South as well.

Salman Khan and Govinda blow over Sonakshi Sinha

Once touted as best friends, Salman and Govinda can’t see eye to eye any longer. The two actors have reportedly fallen apart and it’s all owing to Salman’s latest fixation with Sonakshi Sinha. Buzz has it that Govinda, who was counting on Salman to pave way for his daughter Narmada’s debut in Bollywood, is increasingly peeved with the actor as he has snubbed Narmada to give Sonakshi a larger than life start in Bollywood.

According to a source, “Narmada is as beautiful and talented as Sonakshi. Last year, Salman was very much involved with grooming Narmada. However, after he started shooting for ‘Dabangg’, he has eyes and ears for Sonakshi and not Narmada.”

And Govinda, though feels cheated, has refrained from voicing his feeling as he feels indebted to Salman for helping him get ‘Partner’ in 2007.

But a lot has changed between the two pals now, as under ideal circumstances, Narmada should have signed a movie or two by now.

“There was a time when Govinda used to frequently visit Salman’s house, Galaxy Apartments at Bandstand. Not anymore. After working on ‘Partner’, both actors were almost inseparable and loved being with each other, be it at home or even in autorikshaws, out for a spin in the middle of the night,” added the source.

Sonakshi Sinha to make bollywood debut

Sonakshi Sinha, daughter of versatile actor turned politician Shatrughan Sinha, is all set to make her entry into the tinsel town. Sonakshi feels like she is on cloud nine as she is all set to share screen space with none other than Salman Khan in her debut film. Salman also happens to be one of her favourite actors.

The film is to be directed by Abhinav Kashyap and produced by Arbaaz Khan under Arbaaz Khan Production’s banner. The film is essentially about a human relationship drama. It is expected to go on floors in September.

One will have to wait and watch how the new girl in the block does with the charismatic Salman Khan.
