Singer-actress Jennifer Lopez was left embarrassed after she suffered a wardrobe malfunction during an interview on German TV. The singer, who has been promoting her new album "Love?" across Europe, looked gorgeous in a floor-length beige and black dress with a matching head band, but her dress kept whipping up in the windy weather. In a bid to keep her ensemble down, she accidently flashed her bosom.

Pop diva Jennifer Lopez has beaten off competition from younger beauties like Beyonce Knowles and Anne Hathaway to be named the world’s most beautiful woman by People magazine.

The 41-year-old singer-actress said that she was ‘honoured’ by the title and was proud that she has won it at her age.

"I feel happy and proud. Proud that I’m not 25," said the mother-of-two.

Lopez, who is a judge on ‘American Idol’, said that she felt her best while at home with her family of husband Marc Anthony and 3-year-old twins Max and Emme.

"Just being able to touch my face and rub my eyes and put my fingers in my hair and not having to worry about messing it up. It’s so much better," said Lopez.

The Bronx native has built a tremendous empire since appearing as an extra in the 90’s comedy show ‘In Living Colour’. As well as her albums and films she has expanded her brand into fragrances, clothing line and her own production company.

Lopez is joined on the honour roll by Halle Berry, Jennifer Garner, Sandra Bullock, Reese Witherspoon and Jessica Simpson and Jennifer Hudson among others.

The men in the Most Beautiful list include Zac Efron, Kellan Lutz, Ryan Reynolds and Johnny Depp.

Singer Jennifer Lopez believes that giving birth to her three-year-old twins Max and Emme is the most empowering thing she has ever done. The 41-year-old star was also inspired to launch her own charitable organisation The Maribel Foundation, named after husband Marc Anthony’s sister who died from a brain tumour, after becoming a mother. "What’s the most empowering thing I’ve ever done? God. Probably giving birth. And as a direct result of that, setting up a charity with my sister Lynda," said the actress. "It was a dream we had for a long time. Once we had babies, we were ready to say, ‘Let’s do it’. We’re not claiming to change the world in one day, we’re just going to do our little part. "We always said we’d help women and children’s health and education and now it’s happening," she said.

"Jennifer always had money, but this is the first time in years she’s getting a weekly cheque. She’s a girl who loves to shop, and she is enjoying her riches and spending it on herself," added the source. The ‘Maid in Manhattan’ star who joined the show after the departure of comedian/talk show host Ellen Degeneres, is rumoured to have spent money on branded luggage, jewellery and presents for her husband Marc Anthony, and twins Max and Emme. "She is a style icon who is expected to look great 24/7. And she does," added the source. Lopez has also been signed on as the new face of ‘Tous’ jewellery and is fronting their Sping-Summer 2011 ad campaign, in addition to being a spokesperson for Venus razors.

Actress Jennifer Lopez is just like any other ordinary mother to her three-year-old twins Max and Emme. "They are obsessed with ‘Beauty And The Beast’ right now and ‘The Chipmunks’. I think I have seen ‘The Chipmunk’ movie about 700 times. I can recite it to you – it’s crazy," said Lopez. "The minute we get anywhere - because we travel a lot - we have to move everything up. No flowers on the coffee table, no cups, no knives, no forks, no food. Max likes to throw fruit. Anything he finds he just throws over his shoulder," she added. Like any ordinary mother, Lopez insists she is both exhausted and amazed by her boisterous children.

"The little ones are beautiful. It’s the most profound thing that can happen to you as a woman. You have a child and they just completely change your perspective on the world. They are amazing, so smart and sweet and loving, and I am just proud," she said.

Pop diva and actress Jennifer Lopez is all set to premiere the video for her new single ‘On The Floor’ on an episode of ‘American Idol’. The ‘Waiting for Tonight’ hitmaker, who is also a judge on the US reality talent show alongside Randy Jackson and Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler, will appear in her ‘On The Floor’ video during the broadcast on March 3. The 41-year-old beauty said she is "wild and crazy" but "sexy and sweet too" in her latest pop offering. "I play one character where she kind of runs this party, acts like she’s kind of over it, but at the same time loves it and loves this kind of underground kind of party dance culture. So I got to be wild and crazy, and at the same time I got to be sexy and sweet too," she said. Lopez also explained what the song means to her, saying she loves it because it reminds her of her younger self striving for success.

“I really feel like, emotionally, I connected to it, but also because of how much I love to dance and how much that’s always been such a big part of who I am since I started. Since I was a little girl, I just totally connected with the idea of getting out there."

Jennifer Lopez is Global Ambassador for Gilette

Singer Jennifer Lopez has added another feather to her cap – she has been named as the first ever Global Ambassador for shaving brand Gilette. Lopez and her famously fabulous legs will star in the new campaign for Venus Goddess, dedicated to encouraging women to feel their most confident, powerful and beautiful - inside and out. "The Venus brand empowers women and speaks to the ‘goddess’ in every one of us," she said. The newly established Venus Goddess Fund for Education will enable global educational opportunities for women through partnership with organisations such as CARE International, the Step Up Women’s Network and Lopez’s own Maribel Foundation. Lopez has also recorded a remake of the classic ‘Venus’ song as part of the campaign.

"Music is one of my great passions, so being able to record and perform a remake of the iconic Venus song was a really special part of this campaign. I love that I could express my own passion and creativity, and hopefully inspire other women to do the same...whatever it is they love doing," she said.

Jennifer Lopez is global brand ambassador of L’Oreal

Aside from judging "American Idol," Jennifer Lopez can simply look beautiful as the newest face of L’Oreal Paris. The brand has announced that Lopez will be its newest global brand ambassador, joining a roster of spokespeople that includes Milla Jovovich, Patrick Dempsey, Rachel Weisz, Beyonce Knowles, Diane Kruger, Evangeline Lilly, Andie MacDowell, Eva Longoria, Freida Pinto and Gerard Butler. Lopez will be a spokesperson for the new Feria Color line of home care color, and will appear in a TV and print campaign that launches January 25 alongside Jovovich.

This is the second major branding deal for Lopez in less than a month. On November 18, she and hubby Marc Anthony announced the launch of his and hers lifestyle brands for Kohl’s Department stores.

The awards kicked off with Argentina’s Gustavo Cerati getting honours for best rock album and best rock song.

Cerati, who has been in coma ever since he suffered a stroke earlier this year, has been a fixture in Latin music for decades. He was part of popular rock band "Soda Stereo" before launching a solo career.

Jennifer Lopez to produce TV comedy series

Singer-actress Jennifer Lopez, who has been crowned as ‘American Idol’ judge, is set to produce a new comedy series about life as seen by Latina nannies.

Lopez made a start on small screen, featuring in hit shows like ‘In Living Color’ and ‘Second Chances’.

Lopez will be working on a new series for the ABC network, which is about three branches of an extended Los Angeles family - as told through the eyes of their three Latina nannies.

The Puerto Rican star will be co-executive to produce the as-yet-untitled series through her company Nuyorican Productions.

However, it is not yet known if Lopez will feature in the show. A premiere date for the new series has yet to be announced.

Jennifer Lopez bans ex-hubby from American Idol

Popstar and brand new ‘American Idol’ judge Jennifer Lopez has banned ex-husband Ojani Noa, an aspiring singer, from auditioning on the superhit talent show.

Earlier this week it was revealed that Noa, Lopez’s first husband, was planning to audition for the show.

The 38 year old said he would be queuing up alongside other hopefuls and planned on singing one of his ex-wife’s songs.

When the ‘Get It Right’ hitmaker, who reportedly signed a USD 12 million contract to be on the judging panel, found out about this, she got the channel to stop him from competiting.

"Jennifer told Fox to make sure that the screeners at the auditions would not let Ojani anywhere near the auditions. Fox made it clear he was not welcome and that he could be arrested if he showed up so he dropped the plan at the last minute," said a source.

"It was a shame because all he wanted to do was to showcase his voice and show people that he can really sing too," added the source.

Lopez has provided the security team with all kinds of information about her estranged ex-husband, including photos, detailed descriptions and even some recordings of him singing.

The 41 year old was married to the former Cuban waiter for just under a year between 1997 and 1998. The pair has been embroiled in bitter court battles ever since the singer tried to block him from releasing a film about his life because it reportedly contained raunchy footage of them together.

Jennifer Lopez wants sexy fragrance

Singer-actress Jennifer Lopez loves the procedure of designing fragrance and says she wants them to "smell sexy".

"I drive Coty (manufacturer) little bit crazy because it’s always not signature enough. I go back and say things like, ‘Can we push the sandalwood a little bit more, can we make it a tiny bit more sexy?", said Lopez.

"To translate that into actual chemistry is a difficult thing. Then they go back and say, ‘What does she mean by sexy?’ And I’m like, ‘You know if you take that little piece that smells a little bit like wood but has a little bit of musk? But I just want you to add a little bit of sweetness. Can you do that for me?’ "

Lopez admits her love for creating scent and says there are so many different avenues to explore in designing a "unique" fragrance.

"Making the bottle, creating the packaging, creating the campaign – it’s all so much easier than creating the juice. You want it to be a combination that people have never smelled before. It’s always an exciting time because sky’s the limit and it can go in any direction," she said.

Being single mother is hard for Lopez

Hollywood actress Jennifer Lopez feels being a single mother, which she plays in her new movie "The Back Up Plan", is a hard job and is not sure if she would have been able to handle the role in real life.

"If I hadn’t met (husband) Marc (Anthony), I wouldn’t have had kids. It’s just too hard. I have so much respect for single moms or those women who find themselves a single mother. To choose to be a single mother is so courageous," said Lopez.

"It is such a hard job to raise a child and be everything to that child without a partner. It is just admirable and brave. I don’t know if I could do it on my own," she said.

The actress plays an unlucky-in-love single mother in the new movie, who decides to have a child alone and then falls for Mr. Right.

Jennifer Lopez wishes to work till 71

Jennifer Lopez has said she will remain in the glamour industry till she is 71 years old.

The singer, who has become a mother in recent years, has no plans of curtailing her career.

"I’ll be doing some form of this when I’m 71. This is what I do. What, because I have kids and a husband I’m not supposed to be me? I’m hyper JLo”, said JLo to US Elle magazine.

She added: "Everything I wanted before, I want twice as much now. Not material things - but to explore and think more.

"Being an artist doesn’t start because you’re 21 and it doesn’t end because you’re 51.

"You need that time to grow. You can’t be, ‘Oh, I’m out of the public, I’m going to have to make a comeback".

"My manager swears I should direct. I’m like, I’m not ready. Maybe when I’m 71.”

Jennifer Lopez is no more a fitness freak

Singer Jennifer Lopez says she’s no longer a "monster" when it comes to exercise.

And judging by her latest magazine cover shoot, she’s bearing no ill effects of a lifestyle less focused on gruelling daily workouts.

"Part of my business is being in shape and looking good. You can’t lie to yourself about it. But I’m not the monster I used to be in the exercise department”, said the singer.

Lopez also admitted she had to work hard to harness her vocal talent unlike her husband March Anthony.

"I had to work at it, but I knew that once I had achieved it, people would respond to me in a certain way. It wasn’t like it was with Marc, who opened his mouth at age three and was blessed with a voice from God. That wasn’t me," she said.

Jennifer Lopez learned from two failed marriages

Jennifer Lopez is sure that her marriage to Marc Anthony will stay firm, as she can deal with marital problems much better after learning from the mistakes she committed in her previous marriages.

The actress/singer’s first hubby was Cuban-born waiter Ojani Noa in 1997, but the couple split only after a year. Lopez then walked down the aisle with dancer Chris Judd in 2001 but the two divorced in 2003.

Lopez and Latin singer Marc Anthony tied the knot in 2004. They have two twins named Max and Emme.

Lopez, 40, says it is difficult to make a marriage work but her past experiences are certainly helping her discover ways to make the relationship go on smoothly.

"I’m still figuring it out as I go along. How do two totally different people come together and make one life and say they’ll do it forever and ever? I mean, I’ve tried it. This is my third time’,” said Lopez.

"I don’t even think I tried in my other marriages, which was immature and not knowing better. I believe that in life you learn through experience. I’m old enough to know now that relationships take work. That it’s not an easy thing," she added.

Jennifer Lopez not to sign up American Idol

Singer turned actress Jennifer Lopez has denied reports that she was in the run to replace “American Idol” judge Paula Abdul.

Abdul had recently hinted that she was not too keen to return to the show and had not signed a contract with Idol producers to return for season 8 of the FOX hit singing competition, fuelling reports that Lopez was to replace her.

But the “Waiting for Tonight” hitmaker, who recently wrapped up her latest movie “The Backup Plan” in New York, has termed reports as "false".

"The rumor of Jennifer Lopez throwing herself in the ring to take over for Paula Abdul is completely false. Jennifer loves Idol but just as a fan. She just wrapped the feature film “The Backup Plan”, due out January 2010, and will release an album then as well," said a representative for Jennifer Lopez.
