Celebrity designer Victoria Beckham was crowned Woman Of The Decade at the Glamour Women Of The Year Awards.

Former ‘Harry Potter’ actor Daniel Radcliffe, 23, was titled as Man of the Year at the ceremony.

"My mother is my woman of the year. She`s here tonight. I really love women but there aren’t enough out there who support other women," said Victoria.

"That’s what we should do, support each other. That’s why I’m here tonight," said the 39-year-old who came with her 14-year-old son Brooklyn.

‘X Factor’ judge Nicole Scherzinger, 34, was named Best TV Personality, while singer Rita Ora, 22, won Best Solo Artist award.

Comedian Miranda Hart, 40, won Best Writer award and she received it from 82-year-old comedian Ronnie Corbett.

Girls Aloud star Cheryl Cole wants to own more Victoria Beckham dresses in 2012 because she’s a huge fan of the former Spice Girls singer’s creations. The 28-year-old singer donned one of Victoria’s creations for an awards show in London earlier this year, and she says she is very keen to wear more of them in the next 12 months. "I think Victoria Beckham is another girl who killed it this year. I love Victoria, I love her clothes and, actually, my festive wish would to be wearing more of it next year," Cole said.

Despite seeing her profile peak during her stint as a judge on UK TV show ‘X Factor’, for which she became known for her style, Cole said that fashion was the last thing on her mind when she was on the show.

Victoria Beckham is carrying a baby girl

Pregnant Victoria Beckham is ‘over the moon’ after her doctor revealed that a hospital scan indicates she’s expecting a girl. But after a 16-week ultrasound scan nearly a fortnight later she was told she was expecting a girl.

Posh then returned for a 4D scan and was told her daughter was healthy and developing perfectly.

The 36-year-old former Spice Girl who is expecting her baby in the summer, is busy redesigning her homes according to feng shui principles to ward off bad energy from the houses and prevent any ill luck. "Victoria is a huge fan of feng shui. She won’t have anything in the corners of the room so that bad energy is warded off," said a source. Besides redesigning her home, Posh is also busy designing her final collection for next month’s New York Fashion Week.

The popstar-turned-designer already has three sons, Brooklyn (11), Romeo (8) and Cruz (5), with footballer husband David Beckham.

Longoria to throw baby shower for pregnant Victoria

Eva Longoria and Kate Beckinsale are apparently organizing a swish baby shower for pal Victoria Beckham. They have teamed-up to throw a lavish bash for Victoria –who is currently expecting her fourth child with soccer star husband David Beckham. It will also be a farewell party for the fashion designer and her children, who are heading to England to be with David while he is training there. “Eva Longoria and Kate Beckinsale are organising a little get together so they can congratulate Victoria, but also say goodbye,” said a source. “They’re really sad that there’s a chance she’s going to be away from Los Angeles for so long. But there’s happy news too, with the pregnancy. “They’re planning on getting all their mutual friends together for tea and cakes at Eva’s.”

Eva has promised to spare no expense for the party, which will be held at her Los Angeles mansion, and is even having her friend’s favourite treats flown in from Europe.

“She’s planning to lay on cupcakes and Laduree macaroons, which she’s getting flown over from France because she knows Victoria’s absolutely loves them,” the source added.

She presented her collection at New York Fashion Week in September and revealed that she had hubby David Beckham in mind while designing it. “I had to put something in David could use. You can take this on the plane and throw your tracksuit in there - it really does fit everything,” said Victoria. Top handbag designer Katie Hillier was employed as a consultant to help Victoria design the bags.

“This collection is not a collaboration - as with all her ranges, Victoria has sought the best consultants to ensure the highest level of quality at manufacture for her designs,” said a spokeswoman.

Victoria Beckham nominated for BFC Designer Brand award

Former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham has been shortlisted for the British Fashion Council’s (BFC) Designer Brand of the Year.

Victoria launched her own label in 2008 and now her hard work has paid off as she’s been shortlisted for the BFC’s Designer Brand of the Year award, taking on fashion heavyweights such as Mulberry, Burberry and Pringle.

Victoria showcases her yearly collections twice at New York Fashion Week, however, the brand is designed and made in London.

Phoebe Philo who has transformed French fashion house Celine into one of the industry’s most sought-after labels has also been shortlisted for the designer of the year alongside Erdem and Christopher Kane, while Lara Stone is nominated for Model of the Year.

Harold Tillman, chairman of the BFC, said that the diverse nominees reflected the "incredible vision and breadth of talent that British designers offer".

The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on Dec 7.

Victoria Beckham defends Size Zero Models

Former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham has defended the use of size zero models.

Contrary to the normal notion, the singer-turned-fashion designer insists many girls on the runways do not starve themselves and instead have a naturally small body shape.

"Most of these girls are naturally thin. And I don’t think we should be discriminating against someone because they are too thin or too curvy or too large or whatever it is," she said.

"I had a casting last week and had some terribly thin girls come in and it wouldn’t have worked," she added.

Victoria has recently unveiled her fourth collection of dresses during New York Fashion Week. The spice girl has been signed up for the Health is Beauty campaign by the CFDA (Council of Fashion Designers of America), and believes designers are beginning to change who they cast as models.

"The CFDA have reached out to designers, stylists and casting directors not to work with underage models, girls that are too thin and to be more ethnically aware," she said.

"The campaign the CFDA has launched is called Health is Beauty and they are definitely encouraging designers to work with healthier sized models," she added.

Victoria’s designs have been worn by a wide variety of celebrities including Heidi Klum, Madonna, Mary J. Blige, Elle Macpherson and Jennifer Lopez since her debut fashion range in 2008.

Victoria Beckham presents classy and elegant styles

From the personal greeting she gave to each of her two dozen guests to the thoughtful answers to questions about the construction of her designs, Victoria Beckham staged an intimate preview of her fall collection at New York Fashion Week that was all class and polish.

The series of 26 dresses, which all maintained her signature sleek, slim shape while adding new elements such as draping and textured fabrics, were all picture perfect. One of the gowns - a tan silk jersey with a touch of embroidery on one shoulder - is a contender for Beckham to wear to the upcoming Oscars.

Her favorite dress, though, was a strapless minidress in a beige print that was hand-tucked to mimic the airiness of a cloud, she told the small group of editors gathered in the parlor of an Upper East Side townhouse that was decorated with white flowers and candles.

"I wanted to push myself and work with structure and drapery," Beckham said. She said she had some sleepless nights over getting everything just right, especially the balance of structure and fluidity.

She wore for the presentation dress No. 12, a gray wool tunic that, she said, "you can just throw on." She completed her outfit with champagne-colored patent-leather platform pumps with a skinny, skyscraper black heel that was created for her and the models by Brian Atwood.

For inspiration, she studied the style of 1940s-era comic-strip detective characters and Hollywood femmes fatales. You could see the Dick Tracy-influence in the trench-style pieces, a featherweight tan lame gown, and a black wool twill shorter dress with embroidery made of rolled tubes of patent leather.

The comics also influenced the newsprint smudges in the blurred pixel print on the finale asymmetric column gown, made with a built-in corset, a sign of the quality of dressmaking Beckham is doing.

The models wore styles with large, round sunglasses to capture a "nerdy-chic feel," she explained. "It was my personal style goal to be more relaxed, and you can see that in the collection."

"We had dinner last night and Romeo wore a suit with a little shirt and tie. That's what he would wear every single day, he’s so into fashion. The other boys are all about going to the beach; he’s not interested. He’s like, “I want to go to work with mummy,” and he sits there going through the collection, feeling the fabrics, giving his opinion. He loves it”, added Victoria.

The singer-turned-fashion designer was said to have given the range a makeover and will try to launch it again under her own name.

The style icon’s dVb range was reportedly taken off shelves by top Los Angeles boutique Kitson and US department store Saks Fifth Avenue over poor sales.

The 35 year old was allegedly bent on persisting her denim diva dreams and has introduced new designs under the label Victoria Beckham Denim.

Victoria Beckham asks husband David Beckham for advice on her fashion range and says he fancies "dresses" designed by her.

According to reports the singer-turned-fashion designer’s fashion range and dress designs are popular with celebrities including Elle Macpherson, Dannii Minogue and Heidi Klum.

"I show him the dresses. He’s incredibly supportive - he finds the dresses sexy because they are leaving something to the imagination, as opposed to being overtly sexy," she said.
