Courtney Love has been sued by credit card company
American Express for the recovery of a whopping
350,000-dollar unpaid charges.
Filing its papers in the US District Court, American Express demanded that the rocker pay off the staggering debt on her
Gold card.
Court documents reveal that the company has suspended Love’s plastic privileges after she "failed and refused" to clear the balance.
Love has already been in the news these days because of her struggle with her finances in recent years.
She even hired a team of private investigators in April to reclaim the millions of dollars she alleged were stolen from her late husband Kurt Cobain’s estate.
Last year, an accounting firm called London & Co had filed a suit against Love, claiming that she had failed to pay them profits from the sale of Cobain’s share of the Nirvana publishing catalogue.
Rocker Courtney Love says that she will soon release her womenswear line - Never The Bride. The 47-year-old was among the famous faces on the front row at designer Roberto Cavalli’s show during Milan Fashion Week where she revealed that she will bring out a collection in the near future after finding a partner. "I hope that’s not a self-fulfilling prophecy though," said Love.
