Helena Bonham Carter doesn’t care fashion mistakes
Helena Bonham CarterHelena Bonham Carter has admitted that she made many fashion mistakes but doesn’t care about it. The British actress caused a stir when she appeared at this year’s Golden Globe Awards wearing one red and one green shoe, but said she feels the fashion industry has become too serious and tries to lay down too many rules. "Why not wear mismatching shoes? Who says we can’t? I was just having fun. Sometimes I get it right and sometimes I get it wrong, but fashion is all about having fun," she said.

"I think fashion has been hijacked by the fashion industry creating rules on what one should wear and I feel like breaking the mould and seeing that the world won’t crumble," she added.

"I love the way Lady Gaga dresses. She’s like a work of art. Anybody who is inventive, different or has fun like her, I love and admire. I’m amazed that she’s able to stand up in some of those shoes she wears," she said.

Helena Bonham Carter among Best Dressed Celebs
Helena Bonham CarterBritish actress Helena Bonham Carter has revealed she burst into laughter after learning that she has been named one of the best dressed celebrities. The "Alice In Wonderland" star was chosen as one of the best dressed celebrities by Vanity Fair magazine. The actress says she laughed at the tag because she lauded for the same outfits critics had previously savaged her for. "It was a triumph! It made me laugh because I thought it was a joke when I found out. But when I saw the article, I thought, ‘Oh, the photos they’ve chosen are as bad as the ones they print when I’m worst dressed," she said.

The 44 year old insists she won’t be changing her ways as she grows older. "I don’t feel any pressure to dress well. When I was younger, I cared more what people say. When I did do the Oscar thing, I did feel quite a lot of pressure to dress a certain way," she said.
