Nicole Richie denies wedding reports

Socialite Nicole Richie has denied reports that she will be tying the knot with fiancé singer Joel Madden by the end of this year.

"Joel and I are not big planners, we just kind of go with the flow of things," said Nicole.

"Honestly, we haven’t planned anything. He is about to go on tour with his new album, I’m on my book tour and I’m really focused on my work and with the kids," she said on the US talk show "The View".

The socialite sparked rumours her big day was imminent after taking her friends Christina Aguilera and DJ Samantha Ronson off to Cabo San Lucas in Mexico for a supposed bachelorette party earlier this month.

The couple, who got engaged last year, has two children together - two-year-old daughter Harlow, and one-year-old son Sparrow.

Richie is currently promoting her new novel "Priceless".

Socialite Nicole Richie got engaged to rocker beau Joel Madden this Valentine’s Day and is now "beyond thrilled" and "so excited" about starting planning for her dream wedding.

The 28 year old actress was spotted wearing a new ring while dining out with Madden. The "Simple Life" star and the rocker from the Good Charlotte band have two kids together.

According to a source, "She’s beyond thrilled and so excited to start planning her dream wedding”.

Nicole Richie returns to small screen

It has emerged that mum-of-two Nicole Richie is returning to the small screen as the star of a new TV sitcom.

The former “Simple Life” star pitched to bosses at US network ABC for show.

She will produce the series, in which she’ll star as a working woman juggling her family and love life.

In the past, the 28 year old notched up guest appearances on TV hit Chuck, as well as 8 Simple Rules and American Dreams.

Nicole Richie recovering pneumonia

Nicole Richie has revealed that she still needs to stay home in bed and recover from her bout with pneumonia.

28 year old Richie, had been hospitalised following the illness, thanked her fans for the support they gave her.

“Right now it’s important for me to stay in bed and recover”, said Nicole.

“Reading all of your messages on Twitter and my website has really brightened my spirits and I am so grateful for the support. I look forward to seeing you all very soon and wish you a happy Thanksgiving,” she wrote on her blog.

She also apologized for missing promotional appearances, saying she was disappointed at not being able to see her business partners and fans.

“I’d like to thank you all for the kind words and well wishes over the past few weeks,” she added.

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden tie the knot

Socialite Nicole Richie and her long time partner ‘Good Charlotte’ rocker Joel Madden have got married.

The couple - who celebrated the birth of their second child, son Sparrow, last month - are rumoured to have secretly tied the knot in an intimate service on Wednesday after obtaining a marriage licence last week.

The news comes after it was revealed Richie was keen to wed the Good Charlotte rocker following the death of her ex-fiance DJ AM, real name Adam Goldstein, in August.

"Nicole has never been in a rush to get married to Joel. She’s so happy with him and their little family that she didn’t feel the need to change the way things were between them," reveals a source.

"But when Adam died, she freaked out. She realised life is fragile and short. She doesn’t want to have any regrets at all, and she does want to be Joel’s wife”.
