Freida Pinto defends her GQ photo shoot
Freida Pinto‘Slumdog Millionaire’ star Freida Pinto, who raised eyebrows last year (2010) with a series of hot shots for the US version of GQ, is now defending the photoshoot. Rumours suggested that the photoshoot for the men’s magazine was a deliberate attempt to shake off her ‘nice-girl’ image, but Pinto has now spoken out to stress that she was not manipulated into taking part and it was entirely her decision to pose for the pictures. "The decision to do those pictures was mine. I definitely knew how I wanted to look. A stylist may have chosen the clothes but the decision to wear them was mine. I would hate to feel that I was being objectified,” said Pinto. "I have always said that a woman’s feminity should not be used in a way that is demeaning to her. But, you know, I don’t think this is a sexist issue any more because actors are strutting their stuff in photoshoots just as much as actresses now," she added.

Diane Kruger poses for hot photo shoot
Diane Kruger poses for GQ photo shootGerman born actress Diane Kruger has stripped off and used just a fur throw to cover up her modesty in a steamy photo shoot for men’s magazine GQ. The 34 year old, Kruger, appears with a pair of furry boots and a carefully placed fur blanket only. In the photos, the actress looks completely at ease as she lounges on a bed wrapped only in the fur throw, with her hair tousled and looking fresh faced with barely-there make up.

Kruger actually started her career as a high fashion model in her native Germany before moving to Paris to when her career took off.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s girlfriend Irina Shayk poses for GQ
Irina Shayk poses for GQ Footballer Cristiano Ronaldo’s girlfriend Irina Shayk is upset with Spanish GQ after unclothed photos of her were published in the magazine. The 24 year old Russian beauty’s agents threatened to sue the mag over the pictures, which they claim have been digitally altered. However, the magazine insists the underwear model happily stripped off - and has threatened legal action against Shayk’s agents Elite. The stunning brunette posed for GQ in Madrid on November 4 and the magazine published 14 sexy photographs and an interview this week. The front cover shows her smoking a cigarette over the headline: "The most beautiful animal in the world. Do you want to discover Ronaldo’s girlfriend?"

Inside she appears in a series of photographs in lingerie, and in five pictures she seems to be wearing no knickers. One shows her outdoors in just a pair of high heels, and two others only wearing knee-length socks.

"She’s the victim of photographic retouching and negligence by GQ Spain. It wasn’t planned for her to appear naked," said director of Elite models in Spain. Marie said the photos "damaged and harmed the model’s image" and added: "It’s obvious the headline was designed with the sole aim of selling more copies."

The editor of the magazine Javier Fernandez de Angulo, who was present during the photo-shoot, hit back, saying: "The model took her clothes off completely naturally. "Maybe she’s annoyed because we put on the front cover that she’s Ronaldo’s girlfriend, and she asked us to avoid that."

Ironically during the interview Shayk says you don’t have to be naked to feel sexy. She said: "I feel very sexy when I’m wearing lingerie. You don’t have to be naked to feel sexy. I think the power of seduction is within every woman, but of course I feel more sexy wearing lingerie," she added.
