Australian model Lara Bingle did not show up at a lavish lunch of Swedish label Acne in Sydney on Sunday.Lara was expected to be one of the star guests at the soiree, held at Strickland House in Vaucluse.
Her absence left the organisers of the event disappointed. A host of photographers were also eagerly waiting for the model to arrive at the event.
Bingle had been lent clothes by the label and had sent her RSVP to the hosts.
Since she did not attend the event, it was left to other partygoers including stylist Jo Ferguson and Vogue’s Kirsty Clements to enjoy the event, which included one room of the mansion being transformed with a real grass lawn.
