Lara Stone wins damages from Playboy
Lara StoneDutch supermodel Lara Stone has won damages from French Playboy, which published unauthorised pictures of her. The model, who has won a ‘significant’ amount from the magazine, plans to donate the money to Great Ormond Street hospital.

“No woman wants photos of them to be published in Playboy without permission. I’m very pleased to have won the case, although of course I would rather not have had to take legal action at all,” satated her law firm Schillings.

The case was heard in a court in Paris under French image rights legislation.

The statement also informed that Playboy has also been ordered to publish a prominent legal statement in the next edition of the magazine confirming the court has found it has infringed Stone’s image rights.

Kelly Brook grabs £340K Playboy offer
Kelly BrookBritish model and actress Kelly Brook is set to join the likes of Dannii Minogue, Pamela Anderson and Drew Barrymore by doing photoshoots for men’s mag Playboy.

The 30-year-old will pocket 340,000 pounds when she shoots for ‘arty’ pictures later this month.

She will be photographed by an A-list snapper on a two-day shoot in the Mediterranean.

"This is a huge opportunity for Kelly who is without doubt one of the world’s most beautiful women,” said a source.

"Playboy is an iconic publication which is known across the world as a sophisticated title. Kelly can’t wait as they are promising a very arty shoot.

"It’s a real honour to be asked to do Playboy as obviously they are very picky about who they want.

"And by the same token it’s a real coup for Playboy as there probably isn’t a red-blooded male who won’t be looking forward to the pictures," the source added.
