Mischa BartonActress Mischa Barton was devastated when her TV show ‘The Beautiful Life’ was given the axe just after two episodes - because it “deserved to be seen.”

The actress, who landed the lead role as a supermodel in the fashion-based drama series, says bosses at America’s The CW network didn’t give the program a chance to gain a following.

"It was all so political. They didn’t give it a chance. I’m sure it would have found its audience because it was a great show and was really high fashion”, said Mischa.

“It takes a while for stuff to find a following. I feel more bad for the other girls in it, because it deserved to be seen," she added.

Mischa Barton falls in love again
Mischa BartonAfter a headline grabbing emotional meltdown which saw her being involuntarily held in a psychiatric ward, actress Mischa Barton quickly returned to normalcy and has found love again.

The “OC” actress who had split with writer James Regan before her meltdown, is dating aspiring actor Leo Wyndham.

"They’ve been together for over a month now.They met in New York not long after Mischa was released from hospital. Leo is out there trying to make it as an actor, so they move in similar circles. He’s been an extremely positive influence on her," said a source close to the actress.

Barton is currently shooting for her TV series “The Beautiful Life” in New York has been linked to a series of men including rock musicians Cisco Adler and Luke Pritchard.

The British born actress looked healthy and happy as he attended the New York Fashion Week with her friend Peaches Geldof, turning heads in a daring plunge neck Herve Leger dress.

"I’m so fine now. Really, it was blown out of proportion. It’s kind of silly now to be talking about it because I’m so fine now, but it was just a really bad time for me," said the actress about her brief stay in the psychiatric ward.
