Mehr Jessia to host fashion shows for IPL 3
Arjun Rampal - Mehr JessiaBollywood star Arjun Rampal and his model wife Mehr Jessia are on the seventh heaven for their company has got a plum contract to organise fifty five amazing fashion shows and parties for the upcoming IPL season three.

Both Arjun and Mehr are excited about their new venture concerning the IPL, which begins today. Their company will be handling fashion shows and lavish parties after every match. With Bollywood celebrities adding extra zing, the fashion shows will be high on glitz and glamour.

Interestingly, Mehr Jessia and IPL Chairman Lalit Modi were behind the idea of holding fashion event and ritzy parties. Talking to a news daily, an elated Mehr says, “There will be 55 fashion shows and 55 parties in all.”

When enquired about the post IPL match parties, Mehr said, “You don’t have to drink to be at a party. Besides, it would just bring all the cricketers under one roof. When we saw some of the matches in the first season, we had observed that the cricketers wanted to be together every evening. So what can be a better idea than this?”

“Another interesting aspect is that every team will have a specific ambience. The host of the party will be the team in whose city the match is played. Like if KKR is playing Mumbai Indians in Mumbai, then Mumbai Indians will be the hosts.”

Though the one-time fashion icon was reluctant to disclose the names of the top models participating in the event, Mehr said, “We will have all the top fashion designers - Shantanu & Nikhil, Manish Malhotra, Rocky S, Anamika Khanna, to name just a few.”

Finally, when enquired whether Arjun and Mehr will make it to every event, “That won’t be possible because at times there are two matches on a given day. There is no commitment on that. But we promise everybody a gala time,” added Mehr.

Shah Rukh Khan to sell IPL tickets for as low as Rs.100
By this time next week the biggest cricketing extravaganza -IPL (Indian Premiere League) would be on and cricket mania is surely going to be at an all time high for the following few weeks.

Needless to say the presence of Bollywood stars in some cricket matches would truly be a case of sone pe suhaaga for every Indian. The opening match of the IPL itself sees Dr.Vijay Mallya's 'Bangalore Royal Challengers' take on Shah Rukh Khan's 'Kolkata Knight Riders' at the Chinaswamy stadium in Bangalore.

While most of the team captains and owners would be present for the opening ceremony in Bangalore on April 18th, once the tournament starts, most owners would be seen only in the places where their teams are playing.

So this means that Shah Rukh Khan would be seen cheering his team Kolkata Knight Riders wherever they play. The charismatic Khan is particularly looking forward to cheering his team at the spectacular Eden Gardens stadium in Kolkata. In fact, Khan has even decided to keep the ticket prices as cheap as Rs. 100 (lowest denomination) so that the youth can get to witness all the cricketing action live.

What's more, Shah Rukh would be even handing over every 1000th purchased ticket personally to the spectator. The superstar has even urged some of his good friends to be present along with him to cheer his team.

Surely, Shah Rukh is going all out to promote his team and get maximum spectators to watch the action.
