Cheryl Cole gives away jewellery gifted by Ashley

Cheryl Cole is getting rid of gifts that her soon-to-be-ex-husband Ashley bought her during their marriage.

The 26 year old, Girls Aloud star, is believed to have given away thousands of pounds worth of gifts – including jewellery from her love-rat hubby.

Unwanted necklaces, earrings and bracelets were dished out to her pals and mum Joan during a recent girl’s night in.

Cheryl has given away a diamond heart pendant.

Cheryl has had a massive clear-out, like anyone would after a break-up. A load of jewellery, especially earrings and necklaces, some of which were bought for her by Ashley, were thrown into the tidy-up.

"She didn’t even like a lot of the pieces as they’re not her style, far too bling.

"Even the bits she does like, she doesn’t want to wear them, although she has held on to her wedding ring.

She has closed that chapter of her life so she wants rid of a lot of the things they have accumulated.

The singer launched divorce proceedings against the Chelsea and England defender, Ashley, last week.

Celine Dion pregnant again with twins

Celine Dion’s struggle to have one more baby has more than paid off. She’s pregnant with two.

Publicist Kim Jakwerth told that the 42-year-old Canadian songstress is 14 weeks pregnant with twins, and she plans to find out the sex of the babies next month.

Dion and her husband and manager Rene Angelil have one son, 9-year-old Rene Charles.

She had undergone several rounds of in-vitro fertilization in an attempt to get pregnant again.

Dion is working on new albums in English and French, and returns next year to Las Vegas for a three-year residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace.

Mariah Carey fuels pregnancy rumours

Singer Mariah Carey has dropped out of her latest movie, Tyler Perry’s adaptation of Ntozake Shange’s 1975 play "For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow is Enuf," just days before filming was scheduled to begin, fueling rumors that she is pregnant.

"She is not doing the movie because her doctor advised her not to," said her representative. "More than that I cannot comment further."

Earlier this month, Cannon had hinted that a baby is not out of the question after sometime.

"Her schedule is starting to calm down, you never know”, said her rep. "In the next year or two, the rumors might come true."

Carey and 29 year old Cannon have been married for two years.

Alicia Keys pregnant with her 1st child

Alicia Keys is in a motherhood state of mind: She’s pregnant with her first child.

The Grammy Award-winning R&B singer has been dating producer Swizz Beatz, who has written hits for Beyonce, Jay-Z and others. They’re engaged to be married at a private ceremony later this year.

Keys last year teamed up with Jay-Z for a hit song about New York called "Empire State of Mind." She’s among a string of international artists slated to perform at a June 10 concert to mark the start of the World Cup soccer tournament in South Africa.

Hollywood actress Sandra Bullock will receive MTV Generation Award at the MTV Movie Awards next month. She will be the first woman to receive this honour.

Sonam Kapoor declines Mani Ratnam

He is the director that every actor in the industry vies to work with, but, when Mani Ratnam approached dainty lass Sonam Kapoor, she refused him bluntly.

Believe it or not, but the actress, who was approached with a meaty role by the ace taskmaster, turned him down stating she “didn’t like the role”. However, if insiders are to be believed, Sonam declined the role as she was miffed with the presence of Vivek Oberoi in the film.

Mani had approached Sonam for the directorial debut of his former assistant Shiva. The film itself is a biopic that Mani himself has scripted and tells the real story of a very close friend of his. Expectedly so, the film is a project very close to Mani’s heart.

What’s more is that Vivek Oberoi was much too pleased to get onboard when he was approached with the offer. Shaad Ali, who had a cold war going with Vivek since the time they worked on Saathiya, quietly sunk his differences and came on board.

However, when Mani approached Sonam to play the female lead, he was stunned by her refusal. Sonam’s spokesperson confirmed the news and said, “Yes, Sonam was offered Mani Ratnam’s assistant’s film. However she did not want to do it because she did not like the role."

Nevertheless, insiders state that Sonam doesn’t want to work with Vivek, considering his standing in the industry.

Cheryl Cole files for divorce from Ashley

Cheryl Cole has launched divorce action against love rat husband Ashley, and she’s not asking for any money from him.

The stunning singer wants a "clean break" so that she can start her life afresh.

In fact, the Girls Aloud beauty will let Chelsea soccer star Ashley keep their 6-million-pound mansion.

According to a source, "Cheryl made a swift decision to put England’s World Cup dreams ahead of herself. The divorce should be finalised before England’s first touch of the ball in South Africa on June 12.

"She knows how vital it is for Ashley to have a completely clear head and concentrate entirely on his football and performance, with no distractions or emotional pulls.

"She wants a completely clean break with no malice or wrangling over property or money. Cheryl will not take one penny of Ashley’s money.

"Crucially, people expected her to request their Surrey mansion as part of the divorce terms. But the house means nothing to her.

"She only moved there because it was important for them to be near Ashley’s training ground. Cheryl is giving the house to him."

Cheryl’s divorce papers cite the reason for the split as 29-year-old Cole’s "unreasonable behaviour".

The source added: "She has fully accepted there is no going back after Ashley’s cheating and their marriage breakdown.

"So this divorce will be clean, swift, amicable and smooth. Cheryl has no spite towards Ashley and has been incredibly mature and considered in how she has handled the split."

English hottie Rosie Huntington Whiteley may replace Megan Fox in the next edition of the ‘Transformers’ movie.

23 year old, Whiteley is presently dating actor Jason Statham.

Megan decided to step out after a row with director Michael Bay, who complained she had lost too much weight.

She played the role of Mikaela Banes in the two films under the franchise.
