Penelope Cruz is pregnant

If the latest reports are to be believed, then actress Penelope Cruz is expecting her first child with actor partner Javier Bardem.

The Spanish stars, who first worked together in 1992’s "Jamon, Jamon" are preparing to be first-time parents after learning Cruz is pregnant.

"Penelope is about four months pregnant. She’s really healthy now and will be a great mother," said a source.

Cruz and Bardem also starred in the 1997 Spanish film "Live Flesh", before playing lovers in Woody Allen’s 2008 drama "Vicky Cristina Barcelona", which won the 35-year-old actress her first Academy Award, for Best Supporting Actress.

Claudia Ciesla carries Lord Ganesha to bring Luck

Twenty two year old German actress-supermodel-singer Claudia Ciesla reportedly always carries an idol of Hindu Lord Ganesha presented by her Vedic astrologer, which she claimed brought her good luck.

She is reported to have said, “I love Hinduism’s tolerance and peaceful thinking. I have visited many temples and prayed, which is helping me by way of hope and new energy.”

Kelly Clarkson performs controversial single

American pop singer Kelly Clarkson has had to bow down to her record bosses, and to perform her new single, which she had dubbed as a “rip off” of Beyonce’s hit ‘Halo’ at a free show in New York.

Clarkson, 27, who claims that songwriter/producer Ryan Tedder sent her the ballad ‘Already Gone’ without telling her he had already offered it to Beyonce, performed the single on July 31.

Sony Music executives ignored Clarkson’s pleas not to release the track because it sounded too much like Beyonce’s Halo - prompting her to publicly criticise Tedder and her bosses at the label.

But she has consented to promote the tune, which she performed at a free concert on US TV show Good Morning America, drawing thousands of fans to New York City’s Central Park.

Penelope Cruz left red faced

Spanish actress Penelope Cruz was left red-faced when she had to appear on the red carpet wearing a scarlet suit, after her luggage got lost on a flight to London.

Cruz, 35, had jetted in to the British capital from Madrid to attend a glamorous event at the city’s Somerset House with her ‘Broken Embraces’ director, Pedro Almodovar.

But when she arrived there, the actress was forced to wear a red suit that she had kept in her hand luggage, instead of the customary full-length gown.

She was, however, not fazed by it, and was more worried about the unpredictable English weather.

But filmmaker Almodovar was sure a conspiracy was at work, and was convinced an avid fan was behind Cruz’s missing possessions.
