Katie Holmes named Face of the Future by MaxMara

Katie Holmes : Face of the FutureHollywood actress Katie Holmes has been named the ‘Face of the Future’ by Italian fashion label MaxMara. The annual award is given by the Italian fashion label to recognise style, talent and the recipient’s contribution to the community. The ‘Batman Begins’ star, who travelled to Milan Fashion Week for the brand’s catwalk presentation said she was thrilled with the honour because she adores the label. "Their clothes are so comfortable and beautifully made, I love wearing them. I’m so excited to be here at Milan Fashion Week, this is my first time. I haven’t been shopping yet but I will sneak in some time to shop," said Holmes. Ian Griffiths, Head of Design Style for the brand, said they had chosen the 32-year-old actress because she is the epitome of a MaxMara customer.

"Katie’s style is chic and modern, it equates with the Max Mara style because it gives you confidence so you look good in anything. No matter what you’re doing you don’t have to worry about how you look," he said.

The award will be presented to Holmes at a gala in Beverly Hills in June where she will join the ranks of previous recipients Zoe Saldana, Emily Blunt and Elizabeth Banks.
