Sanjay Dutt who has lately been out of the country holidaying with his wife in New Zealand heads for Kashmir to shoot for Rahul Dholakia's Lamhaa under the heaviest 'bandobast' ever provided to any Indian actor for shooting in any part of the world.
Producer Bunty Walia was under serious discussions with every security channel in Kashmir to ensure full safety for the cast and crew, especially Dutt's, as his presence in J&K is seen as potentially more volatile since he has a massive fan base in the Valley.
That's not the only danger posed to Dutt's security. With his enormously controversial past record including several communal issues, it is felt by many of Dutt's well-wishers that it'd be foolhardy for the actor to be physically present in the extremist-hit Valley.
While the superstar makes light of the security issues, his CEO Dharam Oberoi is more candid in his concern. "It's somewhat dangerous for Baba. More so since he never goes with his personal security anywhere. Baba feels very embarrassed about bouncers following him everywhere. But Bunty Walia has left no stone unturned to secure the 80-unit member's security, especially Sanju Baba and Bipasha Basu's security. CRPF jawans, the army and the J&K police have all been deployed to protect the Lamhaa unit from any kind of violence."
But the best security measure to prevent any blast has been saved for the last. Jammers have been installed all around the hotel and the area where Sanjay Dutt and the crew will be shooting. These devices detonate bombs automatically when detected.
The impressive security 'bandobast' has convinced Dutt that it's not only safe enough to shoot for Lamhaa but also bring in his first marriage anniversary on 19 November in Kashmir.
In Srinagar, overlooking the Dal Lake is the Oberoi Towers where the unit of Lamhaa will be staying. Mrs Sanjay Dutt is expected to join her husband at this spot of jannat for their wedding anniversary on 19 November.
