Oscar winning actress Gwyneth Paltrow is the new face of US luxury leather goods brand ‘Coach’. The 38-year-old actress, who was previously associated with brands like Estee Lauder and Christian Dior, was signed as the brand ambassador by the label to celebrate their 70th anniversary. "I grew up in New York City and I’ve always thought of Coach as the quintessential New York brand. I’ll never forget getting my first Coach bag," said Paltrow. The brand’s president and executive creative director Reed Krakoff praised Gywneth as "a natural choice" for the company saying, "She embodies the spirit, energy and elegance of the Coach brand."The ‘Country Song’ star’s ad campaign will be featured in select markets in Asia and Europe, including France, Spain, the UK, Portugal, and China. Paltrow follows in the footsteps of actress Kate Bosworth who has previously appeared in campaigns for the brand with Coach’s creative director calling her "the epitome of distinctive American style and poise".
