The producers of the TV show How I Met Your Mother were so impressed with pop star Britney Spears' performance on the show that they are pushing her name for an Emmy award.Spears made a a guest appearance on the show. And the ratings for the show went up when Spears played a naïve secretary in two episodes. She now qualifies for an Emmy.
Spears will be competing against 41 other actresses including Mary-Kate Olson. The awards for excellence in television will be given in September.
