Emma Watson turns fashion designer

Emma WatsonIt seems that Emma Watson is looking for new creative outlets post her Harry Potter stint as the actress has now collaborated with designer Alberta Ferretti for a new clothing line. The 20 year old star will be seen in the first part of the Harry Potter final film ‘Deathly Hallows’, and says her new range will be made from organic materials. "We are doing an organic clothing range. I can’t reveal the name yet but there will be more information about it soon," Watson said. The star said her inspiration behind the line is English actress Jane Birkin, "very classic, 60s Jane Birkin."

Ferretti first contacted Watson after learning about the actress’s People Tree organic clothing line.

"She wrote to me and said, ‘I saw what you did with People Tree and I think it’s a great idea and will you do something with me?’" Watson said.

The actress, who shot to global fame at the age of 10 with her role as Hermione Granger, has already made it clear that acting is not her priority and Harry Potter could be the end of her acting career.

She is already a student of literature at Brown University. The collection will debut before the last Harry Potter is released.
