The hot actress Bipasha Basu has been chosen to be the face of Gili diamonds for its exclusive collection.
Diamonds are a girl’s best friend and Gili offers a wide range of diamonds to choose from. I hope this association is amiable and mutually profitable,” Bipasha said in a press statement.
The brand Gili had earlier been acquired by Gitanjali Group, one of India’s largest integrated diamond and jewellery manufacturer and retailer.
According to Mehul Choksi, Chairman Gitanjali Group and Nakshatra, Bipasha epitomises what Gili stands for.
“In our effort to find the right brand ambassador for Gili - a brand of mass appeal, we have stumbled upon the gorgeous and vivacious actress Bipasha Basu to endorse her alluring personality on its products, which is a rhapsody of the traditional and modern. We are excited about having her on board as the new face for Gili,” says Choksi.
The brand has more than 500 outlets in over 30 cities that include retail formats, stand alone stores, shop-in-shops and outlets in airport.
