Shilpa Shetty to become highest ever-paid celebrity

Shilpa ShettyGorgeous Shilpa Shetty has been approached by a world-famous publisher asking her for rights to publish her autobiography. The actress will reportedly be paid a whopping amount to say her life-story, which is not less than any Bollywood potboiler.

The long-limbed lass saw many ups and downs in life before she found her ground in the industry. According to a source, “The publishers have asked her to start off with her experiences in Tinseltown as she dissects her struggle to reach the top and the ups and downs she had to go through. The autobiography will also narrate her success in Celebrity Big Brother post which she became a global icon.”

The source added, “The book will heavily talk about her turnaround and transition into a successful and multi-faceted entrepreneur. Shilpa has also been requested by the publisher to write a closing chapter about her marriage. She has been approached with a great offer that would make her the highest ever paid celebrity in India to write an autobiography.”

“She has an enviable fan following in England and in other parts of Europe too and publishers feel her autobiography will fly off the shelves in no time. How many reprints the book will have is also being discussed,” the source said.

Shilpa Shetty confirmed the news. “It is true that I have been approached by a big publisher to write my autobiography. I realise that my life story will be a colourful one since I have seen so much and experienced the ups and downs. With no godfathers in the industry, I earned a name and repute through hard work for years and if not instantly I have been duty rewarded for being honest. So, this is a huge compliment,” Shilpa said.

However, the actress will take her own time before starting off with the autobiography. “I will definitely write one. But right now I am too busy with my cricket venture. I have no time to breathe. Then, I have spas and other things also to look after. I have lots to do, miles to go and much to achieve in future. I have lots of plans that I need to execute.”
