Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty, the actress with reality show Big Brother fame, is now all set to host the Indian version, Big Boss on new entertainment channel Colors in the near future.
It is reported that the second season of ‘Bigg Boss’ will go on air sometime in August and will run for three months, with one episode for each day. The show will debut once the Akshay Kumar-hosted ‘Fear Factor- Khatron Ke Khiladi’ goes off air.

Shilpa, who became a hot favorite in Britain after her Big Brother win, has replaced Arshad Warsi. According to a source, “Shilpa has been signed on for a whopping Rs 8 crore by the production house. She is the first celebrity to be finalized on the show while the participants are yet to be finalized.”
Shilpa Shetty had achieved global popularity by winning the British version of the show Big Brother, having endured racial discrimination with great dignity and poise. Thus she was the natural choice for the Indian show.
Big Boss is ready to start on Colors. Rajesh Kamat, CEO of Colors, says, “Yes, Bigg Boss – Season 2 is going to air on Colors.”
