Pamela Anderson’s promoter has shared his concern that her itsy-bitsy bikinis may be a tad too much for the conservative Kiwis to handle at their fashion week.Anderson, 42, is set to bring some of her own skimpy swimwear range, Muse, co-designed by Richie Rich, into New Zealand fashion week this September.
The new label is “eco animal-friendly” in keeping with Anderson’s vegetarian and pro-animal rights stance.
But Anderson’s Miami publicist Brian Long, who brokered the deal, said he wonders whether New Zealand, with its “relaxed approach” to celebrity, was ready for the blonde bombshell.
New Zealand has not always embraced the celebrity thing like other fashion weeks do around the world so it is a little bit out of the ordinary. But being an eco-friendly line it seemed a good fit with New Zealand.
The line is more casual, and fashion-wise. New Zealand tends to be a little bit more casual than other places, though the bathing suits might be a bit skimpy for the Kiwis.
