Bollywood stars John Abraham and Bipasha Basu, who have been dating since 2002, are now set to get engaged following a meeting between their parents. You can expect to see Bipasha with a rock on her engagement finger early January."Both John and Bipasha are very close to their families. Recently, their parents met and discussed about solemnizing their relationship by exchanging rings," a source told HTC.
The engagement may take place as early as January because both Bipasha and John have busy schedules.
"Bipasha's family is keen on an early January engagement as both of them have busy work schedules after that," confirms the source.
Bipasha's forthcoming films include Abbas-Mustaan's Race and Yash Raj Films' next being directed by Siddharth Anand.
Bipasha is also working on her first Bengali film, Sob Charitro Kalponik, being directed by Rituparno Ghosh.
John's forthcoming films include Nagesh Kukunoor's Aashayein, Ashtavinayak next opposite Kareena Kapoor, Rohan Sippy's next to be directed by Sriram Raghavan opposite Aishwarya, Deepa Mehta's Luna also starring Rachel Weisz, Dustin Hoffman and Chris Cooper and Karan Johar's next starring Priyanka Chopra and Abhishek Bachchan.
