Following irreconcilable differences with his director Amol Gupte, Aamir Khan the perfectionist, himself took over the direction of his film Tare Zameen Par.It is the first directorial venture from Aamir and is the second venture of Aamir Khan’s Production house after Lagaan. Through this movie Aamir makes his debut as a director. So there is a natural curiosity to see the creative mind of this perfectionist.
And the wait is finally over.
The wait to see how creative is he behind the camera will soon come to an end as the film Taare Zameen Par will hit the cinemas on 21st December, 2007.
The film is based on the story of a dyslexic child, while Aamir himself plays the role of a teacher.The film is a very sensitive story about child care with music by the trio, Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and lyrics by Prasoon Joshi. According to Aamir, the film is dedicated to all children.
Aamir is known to be creatively involved in his earlier films like Lagaan, Dil Chata Hai and Rang De Basanti.
