Minka Kelly voted Sexiest Woman Alive

Actress Minka Kelly has been named Esquire magazine’s Sexiest Woman Alive for 2010. In the November issue of the magazine, the ‘Friday Night Lights’ star talks about her transition to fame from a scrub nurse.

She was knee-deep in C-sections, amputations and gun shot wounds when she got the call that she’d been picked for a principal role in a new network drama. Then 26, Kelly never looked back.

Now, the 30 year old has shared stories of hard times growing up, her mother a stripper, her father a musician touring with Aerosmith, not present for much of her life.

Since her run on ‘Friday Night Lights’ has come to an end, Kelly has appeared in ‘500 Days of Summer,’ ‘Parenthood,’ and will be seen in an upcoming Leighton Meester film called ‘The Roommate.’
