More than 1,000 viewers had complained about a near-striptease by the pop singer as she sang a song from her film ‘Burlesque’. But lingerie firm Gossard said that it helped boost the sales of suspender belts and elasticated hold-ups by 63 percent.“It has been a Christmas of stocking thrillers rather than stocking fillers,” said Gossard managing director, Tony Jarvis.
