Now according to reports, Sonal's character in the film will be based on a modern-day adaptation of Chandramukhi from Sarat Chandra Chatterjee’s ‘Devdas’. Sources say that Sonal will be playing a dancer in the film. The source further added that she will not be playing a lead in the film but her character will get involved with Vidyut’s character.
Produced by Vijay Galani and Pratik Galani, the film is scripted by Manjrekar and also features Naseeruddin Shah, Amol Palekar, and Jishu Sengupta.
