The poet par excellence Javed Akhtar is very pleased by the Filmfare awards. Not only besause he bagged another coveted trophies for his poetic lines “Kehne ko jashn-e-bahara hai” in “Jodhaa-Akbar” but he aslo considered that this year’s Filmfare awards have become far more organized and pleasurable. The bheed-bhaad is gone. There was sophistication and peace.“This is my seventh Filmfare award for lyrics and overall my fifteenth Filmfare award. Is it a record? I don’t know. A R Rahman has won 24 Filmfare trophies. Gulzar Saab has also got plenty.” He said.
Among the award winners speeches Javed Saab liked Priyanka Chopra the best. “I told her she should get another award for her speech. She was so gracious to the other nominees,” said Javed Saab.
